In the case of significant injury where a studentis unable to dance for longer than 4 weeks, wecan issue a credit for those weeks’ fees whichcan be taken off the fees invoice. (If on directdebit option, this will mean that automaticpayments stop early at the end of the year).

This applies ONLY if we are notified in advanceby writing, and with a doctor certificate, withdetails of the number of weeks the child willmiss.

COSTUMES

WestEnd Performing Arts students purchasecostumes for our end of year concert. Thecostume levy is invoiced with class fees and is$80 per class annually. Students get to keeptheir costumes, and there is no sewing orsequining required for any parents. Thecostumes are distributed to the studentsapproximately one week before concert. Wespread the costume levy over 40 weeks, whichworks out to $2 per week. All Pre-Teen to Seniorballet costumes are $100 per costume. Thosewho enrol into a class after the beginning of theyear, will have to "catch up" on any missedquarterly costume fee payments - so that allstudents are paying the same for their costumes. No refunds (or exchanges between siblings) canbe issued for any fees payments or costumelevies. This is because our costume departmentworks year-round collecting, sorting, sewing, designing etc. Some costumes are purchased ormade for the end of year concert as early asFebruary.
