2021 GENERAL PUBLIC VEHICLE RESERVATIONS PROGRAM May 19, 2021 through October 18, 2021

Dear Valued Customer,

Welcome to the 2021 reservation summer season. Below is the listed opening dates and times for reservation

booking. You can log into your Profile online at www.steamshipauthority.com; from here you can check your

personal, vehicle and contact information for accuracy. We do suggest if you plan on making reservations online

that you do this and you have your Profile Number/User Name and Pin/Password ready for logging in prior to

opening day of reservations. This will help make sure that you have fluid process when getting on the website on

your opening day.

Please note that if you had a reservation for 2020 and it was postponed due to COVID 19, you will be able to

change these reservations yourself via mail in request, email submission or the online reservation system. If you

wish to process online, please log into your account prior to opening day and get familiar with the login process.

2021 Winter/Spring Reservations: We are currently booking reservations through May, 18, 2021.

2021 GENERAL PUBLIC RESERVATIONS OPENINGS:

2021 NANTUCKET General Internet Opening:

January 12, 2021 to January 18, 2021 for travel to Nantucket only for the dates of May 19, 2021 through October 18, 2021, reservations can be made

online. You may also submit request in writing via USPS or email. Up to five transactions (one way or round trip)

will be accepted per mailing.

Reservation office hours: *Reservations will NOT be booked over the phone

Tuesday, January 12th & Wednesday, January 13th: 5am to 6pm.

Thursday, January 14th through Monday, January 18th: 7:30am to 4pm.

2021 MARTHA’S VINEYARD General Internet Opening:

January 19, 2021 to January 25, 2021 for travel to Martha’s Vineyard only for the dates of May 19, 2021 through October 18, 2021 reservations can

be made online. You may also submit request in writing via USPS or email. Up to five transactions (one way or

round trip) will be accepted per mailing.

Reservation office hours: *Reservations will NOT be booked over the phone

Tuesday, January 19th & Wednesday, January 20th: 5am to 6pm.

Thursday, January 21st to Monday, January 25th: 7:30am to 4pm.

TELEPHONE OPENING:

January 26, 2021, reservations for travel from May 19, 2021 through October 18, 2021 for both islands will be

available to book via phone, online, postal mail & email. Up to five transactions (one way or round trip) will be

accepted per mailing or phone call.

2021 RESERVATION POLICIES WAIT LIST:

Matches are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Changes are automatically processed as spaces become available.

Space becomes available due to other customers’ reservation cancellations or changes.

NO space is held back for the wait list. Wait List Notification Options:

1.) Up to 48 hours in advance, or 2.) 24 hours in advance, or

3.) Noon the day prior to travel, or 4.) User specified drop date

Wait List Change Notification: Notification delivery method depends upon customers preference set in their account. Preferences can be changed over the phone or when reservation request is sent in.

Prior to one week of the scheduled sailing, notifications via: Text ▪ Email ▪ Postal Mail ▪

One week or less before the scheduled sailing; we will notify via: Text ▪ Email ▪ Telephone ▪

Changes can always be viewed in your account on our website at www.steamshipauthority.com under my purchases tab.

Once changed we can only honor the reservation as changed, we can then no longer honor the original reservation.

Changes via a wait list change are not subject to the $10 date change fee.

ALL changed reservations are subject to cancellation policies.

We always recommend if your reservation has been put on the wait list to confirm your reservation details a few days prior to travel. You can do so by checking your account online or by contacting our Reservation Office.

CHANGING RESERVATIONS:

Require a minimum of 1 hour notice of scheduled time.

One date change may be made at no charge.

All other date changes are an additional $10.00 fee.

Failure to change your reservation with proper notice will result in a VOID reservation. If the date of the reservation is a standby day then it can be used in standby THAT DAY ONLY.

CANCELLATION:

Any reservation paid and cancelled on the same day is fully refundable.

Cancellation must be made at least 14 days in advance of the original scheduled date/time or the changed date/time whichever is earlier.

Valid cancellations will be issued a full refund less a $10.00 processing fee.

Passenger tickets are FULLY refundable.
