Welcome

Dear Wooza,

Welcome to The Women’s College!! The Student Leadership Team and our fellow Woozas are so excited for you to be joining us in 2021. College is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we are here to help you make the most of the opportunity.

My name is Noor Kahloon and I am the 2021 Student Club President. The Student Club is an incorporated organisation that all of our residents are a member of, and it is led by myself and 11 other Executives. As the Student Club Executive, we organise numerous social, cultural, sporting, community and service activities throughout the year. We encourage you to get involved in many of these activities as these events will help you make lifelong friendships and the most of your College experience!

As our newest Wooza, you are becoming a part of a sisterhood that is 107 years old. You will quickly find that the Women’s spirit is something that cannot be adequately described in words. Our spirit is a feeling of pride, unity and passion. We can’t wait for you to feel and be an integral part of this spirit.

I can’t wait to meet you and welcome you into your home-away-from-home!

Lots of love, Noor (2021 Student Club President)

Dear Wooza,

We, as a Student Leadership Team (SLT), are so excited to welcome you to The Women’s College! We hope to make your time at College—however long it may be—as enjoyable as it can be, and of course do some studying along the way.

My name is Phoebe Parker, and I have the pleasure of being your Senior Resident Assistant for 2021. At Women’s, there are 14 lovely Resident Assistants (RAs) who will be there for you throughout the year. You will be placed in one of our seven wings around College, and you will have two RAs that will be there to answer any questions you may have.

As a Student Leadership Team, we have planned a fun and memorable Orientation Week to help you get settled in to College life. If at any point in the week you need to attend other commitments, feel free to come and speak to any member of the SLT and let your RA know.

We cannot wait to meet you on move in day, and to help you have an amazing year at Women’s!

Love, Phoebe (Senior Resident Assistant)
