    UBC teachers have won the award seven times

    Dr. Marcia Boyd, a former Dean, was the 2008 winner of the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) Gies award for Outstanding Achievement Dental Educator

    Dr. Eli Whitney, DMD Curriculum Director, was the lead author on the American Academy of Oral Medicine Competencies for the new postdoctoral Oral Medicine graduate in the United States
