Santa again this holiday season by collecting letters

for him! Santa’s elves will be responding to those

YOUTH PROGRAMS!

COURT SPORTS

Dates: Fridays, January 14th-February 11th

Location: Barron Elementary School Gym

Court Sports will take place at the Barron Elementary

School. Sports include Floor Hockey, Broomball,

Basketball, Football, Ultimate Frisbee, and Dodgeball!

The always popular dodgeball program will return this

winter with 3 sessions at the Barron Elementary

School Gym for varying age groups. Each week, we

will play dodgeball along with other variations of the

sport. Upon registration, more information will be

provided to participants regarding program policies

and procedures.

Registrations are now open for Winter 2021-2022 programs. Program start dates and locations are subject to change and should be

verified during registration. Registration fees are due when enrolling. Individuals must register online by clicking the registration

link under the Recreation Division on the Town’s website. Registrations are accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

Note: Individuals should register via CREDIT CARD ONLINE by clicking the registration link under the Recreation

Division on the Town’s website or by placing Registration forms and payment in the outside drop boxes at the Recreation

Division office located at the Ingram Senior Center on 1 Sally Sweet’s Way—For security purposes, CHECKS are preferred

at the office.

ADULT PROGRAMS! The Dance Aerobic Class will offer a couple

options in the upcoming months: a 4-week

Monday Dance class (Soule School) in

November and December followed by a

12-week sessions beginning in January 2022

(Ingram Senior Center). The program will not

take place during the weeks of school vacation.

Dance Aerobics is a 1-hour class aimed at

burning more calories through a regimen of

both slow and fast-paced dance routines. Class

includes a warm-up and cool down period as

well.

Tap Dance will shift to a 12-week sessions

beginning in January 2022 on Thursdays from

7:30-8:30pm at the Ingram Senior Center. This

fundamental tap class will incorporate

choreographed routines through various styles

and periods of music.

Tap shoes are required.

The Salem Recreation Division will proudly partner once again

with 22:6 Athletics, LLC in offering a winter Flag Football

Program. The 5 week program will teach fundamentals, enhance

skill sets, and incorporate competitive play at the end of every

program date.

The program has two age categories is open to ages 9-14 and will

take place at the Barron Elementary School Gym beginning in

February.

The Salem Flag Football program will mirror the NFL Play 60 Flag

Football rules and regulations format. Participants should have

sneakers and pants/shorts with no pockets for gameplay.

PATS PEAK SKIING AND SNOWBOARDING PROGRAM

FRIDAY’S, FEBRUARY 18- MARCH 25, 2022

Program Info: The five-week program will be held on Friday’s at Pat’s Peak in Henniker, NH. This program is for children ages 6 to

17 and is geared towards moderate and advanced snowboarders and skiers. Our program will not take place during Salem’s

school vacation, Friday, February 25th. It is MANDATORY for all participants to wear helmets at all times-NO BICYCLE HELMETS!

Registration Info: Registrations open on Wednesday, November 15th and can be conducted ONLINE by going to our Town

website or by clicking on the following link: https://www.patspeak.com/Lessons-Rentals/Learn-to-Ski-Ride-Program.aspx

The access code for the Salem program (Salem Residents ONLY) is salemrec2022.

Bus Payment: The bus payment can be made online at AdminSports.net or can be made by cash or check (payable to the Town of

Salem) and mailed to the office or left in the Drop Box located outside the main entrance. An online bus payment does not secure

a registration spot in the program. All program fees must be paid in full before an online transportation registration can be

accepted. Lastly, a separate bus waiver will be emailed and must be filled out by all participants. The bus fee can be deferred by a

participant but the Recreation Division will not provide alternate means of transportation to and from Pats Peak.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Pats Peak has invoked a late fee of $25.00 for all registrations after December 15th.

**No registrations will be accepted after January 7th. We will only accept registrations until the program enrollment limit is filled,

in which time a wait list will be started (maximum of 40 participants)

**Please let the Recreation Division know if you are interested in chaperoning**

(We are limited to the number of chaperones on a 7:1 ratio)

SALEM OLYMPICS ADAPTIVE BASKETBALL PROGRAM

Open to any individual ages 8 and up with intellectual challenges. The Salem Olympic Devils Adaptive Basketball will host 2 different sessions between January and April 2022. COACHES NEEDED!
