Reviewed by Pierre Fourcassie, 02/04/20 Module 1 is very good introduction as it reminds the WHO COVID-19 response strategy and goes in detail on IPC definition, strategies for enhancing IPC promotion and performance, IPC minimum requirements at national and facility level. Module2 provides info on the virus itself and the risk factors and transmissions (fomite transmission = surface to human; and human-to-human through direct droplets and possibly aerosols in closed environments). Module 3 focus on the standard precautions applied to COVID-19. The IPC measures to assist in general preparedness in HCF starts on minute 13.
