PCR & COMMUNITY NEWS
Thank You, Safeway It is Safeway’s tradition to thank the local community whenever they open a new store or reopen a renovated store. At the recent grand reopening of their River Road store in Potomac, PCR was one of two nonprofit organizations selected to receive a $2,500 donation in recognition of our service to the local community. Melissa Wyman, PCR’s Respite Care & Community Engagement Director, accepted the donation on behalf of PCR at the reopening ceremony held on January 10th. We are grateful to Safeway for this special recognition and for their generosity.
In Memory of PCR Member, Brett Badin
On Thursday, January 16th, long-time PCR Member Brett Badin passed away unexpectedly at the age of 32. Brett participated in PCR’s M&T Basketball program, special events, and Studio 3F. An avid sports fan and dedicated bowler, Brett will be missed by all who knew him.
Come inside from the cold weather and join us for PCR’s annual Beach Party get-together.
Wear your favorite shorts or capris, a pair of flip-flops and your Hawaiian tees.
This is a free event and no personal care will be provided.
Please RSVP to Seth Duncan at [email protected] or 301-365-0561,
and remember to include your full name, an emergency contact number and
the number of guests attending. RSVPs must be received by March 20th.
