Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP)• One-year programme that offers a practice-oriented

curriculum taught by polytechnic lecturers to prepare N(A) students for entry into the relevant Polytechnic Diploma courses

• PFP students are given provisional places in diploma programmes, subject to them passing all modules in the one-year PFP.

• About 1,500 places set aside each year by all five Polytechnics, spanning more than 80% of diploma course offerings

• Eligibility does not guarantee placement in a PFP course. Placement is subject to the availability of vacancies and in open competition with other eligible applicants based on merit.
