Christmas Liturgies and COVID-19 - Reservations Required Capacity restrictions of 50% will remain in place for Christmas in all churches. Masks and social distancing of 6 feet between members of different households will remain in place. Please follow the state guidelines regarding COVID and travel if your party is coming from out of state. Because of these diocesan restrictions a reservation system will be put in place for Christmas Eve and Christmas day Masses. The reservation system will eliminate the need to turn people away when capacity is reached well in ad-vance of the service. Guidelines from the diocese are clear that under no cir-cumstances are people allowed to stand in back of the church or in the vestibule area at Mass. INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING RESERVATIONS: Phone Reservations will be open weekdays only from

1 PM -3:30 PM. Please do not leave messages. We will not be taking reservations via emails. Reservations close Dec 23rd at 3:30 PM.

Seating will be assigned on a first come first serve

basis. Each caller should include the number of people

planning to attend in their group, and which Mass they plan on attending.

FOURTH SUNDAY OF ADVENT DECEMBER 20TH, 2020

The Fourth Sunday of Advent—marks the final week of prayer and penance. The fourth candle that is lit is a symbol of PEACE –also known as the Angel’s Candle. It was the Angels who announced Christ birth to the shepherds, and that it is Jesus who has come to bring peace. The wick is lit so as to give the candle life to give off light. Be sure your candle can do the same….

“In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (John 1:4-5)

OPTLATKI— The Optlatki has been blessed. They are available at the St. Stani-slaus Church on Mass days (see Mass Schedule). If you are not attending Mass and would like Optlatki, there will be pack-ets available at the Parish Office. If you would like them shipped to family out of

state, we can do that too! There is a small $3.00 shipping charge. Parish Office info: email: [email protected] or call 802-438-2490.
