Princess Sportsgear indicates the quality and rigidity of the sticks by way of “stars.” We use a scale of 2 to 7 stars.

• The higher the number of stars, the higher the percentage of carbon in the stick.• The higher the percentage of carbon, the more rigid the stick is (which delivers more

striking power).

Every type of stick we make is unique in its kind.

To describe its uniqueness we have created a transparant (removable) sticker which you can find on the inside describing every details of the stick for you.

SG MOULD INDICATION

STARRECOGNIZABLE END CAP

Aerospace foam core head, woven carbon and computer controlled RTM resin injection system. Lightweight, balanced, effortless for the highest level of competition.

All our 5, 6 and 7 star sticks come with a special perforated grip.The perforation ensures an enhanced moist absorbtion, so it’s easy to maintain a firm grip on your stick.

Our stars are placed right above the grip and tell you the amount of carbon that is used in the stick. They starts with 10% in the 2 star stick up to 100% carbon that comes with the 7 star stick.

The new collection of sticks have been outfitted with a bright orange end cap. A small detail, but recognazible from anywhere on the field!

The SG code on our sticks has moved from the bottom to the center of the stick, but it’s function remains the same. It tells you which mould the stick is. For the details on all the SG codes, please see the mould description page.

The inside of each curl is coated with a roughed surface to provide extra grip and control when dribbling with the ball.

We have many different and unique moulds to choose from. Each mould having an unique shape and curve (location).

Also different is the thickness, shape, and bending. Every player will have a different choice of mould. For fast ball handeling and pushing you might prefer a Low Bow stick, but if you’re a striker, a Mid Bow stick might have your preference. MARKETING HIGHLIGHTS 2018

Princess Sportsgear had a great year in regard to brand visibility, these are our absolute highlights of 2018!

Champions Trophy 2018 (June 23th - July 1st)Breda, The NetherlandsAt the Champions Trophy in our home town Breda, we were of course present with our own Princess Sportsgear booth right in front of the main stage. A great atmosphere among international hockey fans! We are very proud of our Dutch men and of course exceptionally proud of our women’s hockey team for winning this tournament.

2018 Men’s Hockey World Cup (Nov 28th - Dec 16th)Bhubaneswar, IndiaWe followed our Dutch and South African ambassadors closely, during and after the matches. After an intense final with shoutouts against Belgium, our Dutch team secured 2nd place during the World Cup.

Collaboration SportwaysLast year Princess Sportsgear started a collaboration with Sportways. Sportways organizes serveral hockeyclinics for young hockeyplayers at their own local clubs (national as well as international). Their ambition is to help the youth with their game so they can enjoy the game even more. As great skill results in better matches, their focus is on technical develop-ment. Sportways is active in over 40 clubs and with their network and our ambassadors it is definitely a “win-win situation”.Besides clinics they also offer very popular day camps. For the upcoming year they will also organise a special “Jorrit Croon talent camp” powered by Princess Traveller.

ONLINEIn 2018 we’ve worked hard on our online presence. This resulted in the continued growth of our social media platforms and the launch of a brand new Princess Sportsgear website.

WebsiteWe modernized the look and streamlined the usability of our website, providing our visitors a fresh and easy to use experience. A special feature where we give visitors the opportunity to search for a hockeystick matching their playstyle will also be added. This will help players of all levels in finding the best possible stick for them within our assortment. Of course keeping our website up to date is an ongoing process and we are very proud to announce that our Englisch version is almost ready for launch!

Social MediaOur Facebook as well as our Instagram pages have had an increase of followers. Mainly because of our updates on the World Hockey Cup, the chance for followers to ask questions and fun content. For 2019 we will continue bringing updates and interact with our fans.Also our video content will include English subtitles. In regards to sharing content such as social media content we will be updating our dropbox regularly.
