Packet Pick Up

• Pick up your race bib and shirt on Friday June 21st at Troy Kensington Campus from 2:00pm – 8:00pm.

• You may pick up another participant’s packet as long as you have a copy of their identification.

• Race shirts were ordered on 6/9/19 so registrations after that date are not guaranteed a shirt will be available until after race day when the final order is submitted. However, extra shirts were ordered and they will be distributed at Packet Pick Up on a first come first save basis.

• Packet’s will be available to pick up on Saturday June 22nd

from 6:45am-7:30am.

• HWP Merchandise will be for sale at packet pick up (and race day).

• Online registration is $35 (5k) and $15 (kids run) through June 21.

• Race day registration increases to $40 and $20 and can be completed online through race morning at 7:00am or onsite.

Area Construction Update

Kensington Troy Campus 1825 East Square Lake Troy MI

• There is ongoing construction and road closures in the area surrounding the Troy campus. We recommend you allow for extra drive time and review the information below.

• John R is only open for northbound traffic. You can enter into the Kensington parking lot from John R if you are traveling northbound.

• Square Lake westbound traffic can pass through the light at John R and enter the Kensington parking lot from Square Lake.

• Square Lake eastbound traffic can enter the Kensington parking lot from Square Lake.

• Please note that Square Lake from John R to Atkins will begin to close at 7:30am as they secure the race route.

Race Day Parking

• Parking will be available in the South and East lots.

• Those entering via John R will park in the East lot.

• Those entering via Square Lake will park in the South lots.

• The safety of the children is our first priority, therefore, from about 9am – 9:30am (during the Kids Run) cars may not be able to leave the parking lot until all children have safely passed the route nearest your car.

• Please pay attention to the parking attendants as they will be directing traffic with safety as the priority!

• 6:45am – 7:30am Late Registration and Packet Pick Up

• 7:00am-10:00am Merchandise Sales

• 7:45am Race Announcements, Prayer, National Anthem and Race Warm Up from Xceleration Fitness

• 8:00am 5k Race Begins

• 9:00am Kids Fun Run Begins

• 9:30am Awards Ceremony

If you are registered and have your race packet, we recommend you are parked by 7:30am. If you do not have your race packet or have not registered, we recommend you arrive by 7:00am.

We do run/walk in the rain…so rain or shine we’ll be there!

5k Course Information

Kensington Troy Campus 1825 East Square Lake Troy MI

• The start and finish line will be located in the east parking lot of Kensington, near the open lawn area.

• 5k Runners/Walkers will start out going north, following the Kensington parking lot around the building and exiting the Kensington parking lot onto Square Lake at the far west exit.

• The course will continue west on Square Lake to Atkins.• The route continues up Atkins to 3 Lakes Drive to Emerald

Lake Drive and back to Atkins.• The course brings the runners back to Square Lake Road

(eastbound), into the Kensington Parking lot and through to the finish line.

• Please see the detailed race map in this race packet.• Course Marshalls, Troy Police and Cheer Stations will be

placed along the route to help guide the racers.• Onsite EMS services being donated by Alliance Mobile Health

Kids Fun Run Course Information

• The start and finish line will be located in the east parking lot of Kensington, near the open lawn area. (Same as the 5k starting line.)

• The Kids will start out going north, following the Kensington parking lot around the building, loop around the west parking lot, through the south parking lot and back to the start/finish line.

• Please see the detailed race map in this race packet.• Course Marshalls and Parking Attendants will be placed along

the route to help guide the kids.

Awards

• All registered participants will receive finisher medals.• Awards will be given for:

• Top 5k Male and Female• Top 5k Male Master and Female Master• Top Male and Female Youth (Kids Run, 12 & Under Only)

• Awards ceremony at 9:30am
