Since its foundation CONUAR supplies 100% of the nuclear fuel bundles for the

Argentine NPPS:

• Atucha I (PHWR, ULE)

• Atucha II (PHWR, U natural)

• Embalse (PHWR CANDU, U natural)

SM&S Nuclear Components is a division with high precision equipment for the

manufacturing of components for nuclear and special industrial applications:

• Heavy and light CNC machining

• Water jet cut

• Special welding (stainless steel, Zirconium and special alloys)



SM&S Nuclear Components is a division with high precision equipment for the

manufacturing of components for nuclear and special industrial applications:

• Non destructive testing (RT, UT, MP, PT)

• Metroligical laboratories

• Clean room form components assembling



SM&S Construction and Field Services Division is structured to provide:

• Construction

• Instalation in field

• Field inspections and tests


FAE Special Alloys


FAE specialices in the production of special alloys ingots, bars, and welded and

seamless tubes: Zirconium, Nickel, Titanium, stainless steel, and Duplex

• Nuclear, aerospace and industrial applications

• Straight heat treated seamless tubes up to 35 m

• Bent tubes with heat treating and shot peening

• Automatic NDE
