Our communities are strongestwhen all ages can thrive.
ANNUAL REPORT2019
“The look on someone’s face when they’re doing what they love is contagious and inspiring.” Taylor Swift’s words reflect how DARTS sees you.
Jim smiled as he watched TC Bear rake his lawn; all 315 outdoor chore clients smile watching volunteers have fun helping them.
Our volunteer JoAnn laughed as she reserved her apartment in The Winslow. Over 170 more will smile and feel relief that such a beautiful and affordable option is available to rent.
Gene’s face, like 6,000 other riders, is worry-free because “I can get out once a week when my kids are wintering in Florida.”
Governor Tim Walz was inspired to declare, “People of all ages should feel confident that they and their families can live vibrant, purposeful lives as they grow old.” With Executive Order 19-38, Minnesota began the journey to become an Age-Friendly State.
Since 1974, DARTS has lived its mission to create connections that enrich aging. Your gifts, your time, your compassion proclaim that you believe our communities are strongest when all ages can thrive.
We are grateful for you. Thank you for being the connections that enrich aging.
Ann Bailey, DARTS President
