CLASSIC LASH EXTENSION TECH

Our training consists of a 2-day intensive program. There are 2 main categories of fundamental skills that are thoroughly addressed during each day of training - theory and hands on application skills. Every aspect of our training program is designed to provide our students with the highest quality of eyelash extension skills.

Our students are given the skills and opportunity to thrive in their own business and work life. Graduated students can be sure of their own skills and feel optimistic of their future as an eyelash extension artist.

VOLUME LASH EXTENSION TECH

The Volume Eyelash Extension Certificate program is an advanced course available only to those Eyelash Technicians who have been offering Classic Eyelash Extensions for six months or longer. This advanced education teaches students the art of offering a volume application procedure. Volume Eyelash extensions are applied by adhering multiple extensions to each individual natural lash. This course will teach students the technique of fanning multiple volume eyelashes out onto the natural lash without applying unnecessary weight to the eyelash follicle. The Volume Bella Lash Training course covers all aspects to become a successful lash artist including: lash anatomy, health and sanitation guidelines, eyelash application and aftercare practices.

LASH LIFT

Lash Lift is the newest in semi-permanent lash curling that works with your natural lashes. This is unlike the traditional perming system of wrapping lashes around a sponge rod, which can cause the lashes to over-curl and look short and stubby. Instead, Lash Lift uses different sizes of silicone pads and each lash is “lifted” individually, creating a perfect curl for your lash length. With lifted lashes, your eyes immediately open up and lashes appear fuller and longer. Learn to offer this treatment and create results lasting 4-8 weeks. Make your clients eyes pop even more with a lash tint, which can be done at the same time. A great up-sell!

SPECIAL FX MAKEUP ARTISTRY

The Style Academy is excited to offer an in depth course in Special FX Makeup Artistry. Learn from Saskatchewan’s leading artist, Emersen Ziffle. Take you skills from basic to advanced with the guidance of your educator who has worked on many TV and film sets. Learn how to design, build, apply and remove special FX creations for various applications. Let your creative side run wild with all the new skills and techniques you will learn. The best part is you can stay right in Regina while you complete your Special FX Makeup training!

FASHION DESIGN

Do you have a passion for fashion? The Style Academy is excited to offer an introductory class for the fashion obsessed. Learn from some of our amazing local talent and learn about the fashion industry. Explore everything from creating a design on paper to sewing techniques and learning how to draft patterns. Learn about the history of fashion and key terminology. By the end of this program you will be able to create a portfolio to apply to a full Fashion Design program or create your own creations as a passion project.

FADES & SHAVES | IN PERSON CLASS

Advance your skills in the world of Barbering. Stay on top of trends and gain new clientele. These programs are designed for industry professionals looking to build new skills or those hoping to strengthen what they already know.

TSA’s one day programs will have you ready to take on new clients and services. Learn the proper steps for a hot towel shave and leave feeling confident about your abilities with a straight razor. Or learn advanced barbering techniques to achieve a proper fade. Understand the tools required and the steps needed. Advance your skills in one area or combine the two classes for a savings!

ADVANCED ESTHETICS CERTIFICATES

MICROBLADING BASIC COURSE

Students will be able to make a good aesthetic judgment of client’s facial features and find the best brow shape to benefit their client’s face shape and desired look. We will also master the execution of this desired look within this three day certificate.

Students will be trained to perform feather strokes on skin in a precise manner with the usage of the highest quality materials.

While taking the Microblading: Basic Course, students will acquire a basic microblading skill, which they will be able to apply independently and confidently by the end of this training

MICROBLADING ADVANCED COURSE

Current microblading professionals will gain a deeper knowledge of skin types, properties and microblading outcomes. Students of this course will perfect their knowledge of techniques and will be able to suggest specific brow patterns which will best suit their client’s genetically given features.

This is a one-day intensive course, with an additional 1 month of instructors’ support. The advanced course is designed for professionals who have been working in the microblading field for at least 6 months, and who preferably took the Microblading: Basic Course with The Style Academy.

MANUAL SHADING

This is a two-day course for professionals who have been working in the microblading field for at least 3 months, and previously took the Microblading: Basic Course with The Style Academy.

The skill of Manual Shading, when performed solely (without previously microbladed strokes), gives the professional an ability to create an Ombre Style brow, something that is frequently requested by clients.

SHADING TECHNIQUES (MACHINE)

This course educates on a shading technique is done using a machine, and gives the effect of a soft, made-up brow. This technique can be done in various intensities and creates either defined, graphic or airy, powdery, transparent natural-looking results.

Brows, Eyeliner or Lips available for machine shading classes. Package them together to save on your tuition.

The Style Academy accepts students based on a formal interview process. This process is mandatory for all students interested in attending one of TSA’s five accredited programs. Due to our intensive programing, we want to ensure that students understand and are ready to make this commitment.

ADMISSION PROCESS

• Review program information and entry requirements.

• Submit student application form and high school or General Education Development (GED) equivalent transcript.

• Receive request for exploratory interview & campus tour.

• Application and interview will be evaluated to determine if you will be accepted into The Style Academy.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Saskatchewan high school diploma or non-Saskatchewan equivalent or GED equivalent.

• Verification of high school or GED equivalent transcript.

• 18 years of age. Applicants 17 years of age or younger require parental or guardian consent.

• Valid government issued photo identification and Social Insurance Number.

ACCREDITATION & FINANCIAL AID

The Style Academy is a Private Vocational School, registered by the Government of Saskatchewan’s Ministry of Advanced Education and is a Designated Educational

Institution for student loan eligibility, recognized by the Government of Canada. It delivers program curriculums recognized by the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC).

The Government of Canada and the Government of Saskatchewan work together to provide student financial aid (referred to as “assistance”) in Saskatchewan. Loans, grants, bursaries and scholarships are available to help full and part-time students access and afford post-secondary education. The Style Academy does not guarantee students will receive loans, grants, bursaries, or scholarships but will work alongside students to complete the application process and provide information about financial resources.

Payment plans are offered and financial assistance is available to those students who qualify.

Campus tours allow you to observe classroom lessons and guest services while they are being performed, explore career investment payment plans, inquire about supplies and materials and meet the principals and educators. There is no obligation to submit a student application during or after your campus tour.
