The Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce began as the Miami Lakes Business Association in 1971. Its first President was Alvin Snyder. After the incorporation of the Town of Miami Lakes, the name of the Association was changed to reflect its role in the new town.

Your Chamber promotes your business in a variety of ways including monthly Membership Luncheons and Business Cards Exchanges.

The Chamber began with only a few members, but has now grown to include over 200 member businesses today.

OBJECTIVES OF YOUR CHAMBER

1. To promote the business and economic interest of its members.

2. To promote the general economic welfare of the Miami Lakes area community.

3. To promote and facilitate business, professional and social relations and cooperation among the members.

Welcome to the 2018 Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce Directory.

I am honored to be President of the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce. Our goal for the coming year continues to be to promote the businesses of our members. In these economic times business development and growth remain key to the survival and growth of our businesses and the economic development of our community.

Making the most of your membership is vital to your business. Participation in our monthly luncheons and other chamber events is crucial; members do business with members so it is important for all of us to get to know our fellow chamber members and what we can offer each other. The Chamber should be your best networking tool, be an active member, invite your friends and colleagues, growing our chamber will benefit us all.

We will continue to have at least one monthly networker in addition to our monthly luncheons so please make it a point to attend. All events will be emailed to the membership and listed on our monthly eUpdates together with other important information. If you are not receiving our eUpdates please let us know, it is important to know what your Chamber and fellow members are doing.

Our 2017 Business Expo was once again a huge success! The showcase is our signature event and is an excellent opportunity to promote your business not only to fellow chamber members but to the entire community. We hope you will take part in this exciting event in December 2018; it is an evening not to be missed by the Miami Lakes business community.
