A son of Champion Sire SNITZEL, WANDJINA was a million-dollar yearling whobecome an outstanding three-year-old colt. He was precocious enough to win at two,but at three, Wandjina placed in the G1 Caulfield Guineas before returning to win theG3 Hayes Stakes (1400m) and then the G1 Australian Guineas (1600m). This is the first foal of Our Matilda who raced just twice. She won over 1000m on debutwhich is a fine achievement by any horse, let along one by High Chaparral. Her dam wasHennessy Waltz, winner of the Listed AJC Angst Handicap at Randwick among her fivevictories. In addition to producing Our Matilda, Hennessy Waltz also produced BRINGA RING, winner of four races including one at stakes level in Adelaide.
