Local geocaching experts Bill and Sue Holman—aka the Muddy Dawgs—have been busy hiding creative and challenging caches for the Friends of Hudson Parks’ 2018 Geocaching Adventure. Six new caches will be placed throughout the contest to highlight six different parks. Participants who successfully find all six caches will earn a chance to win a prize. Make fitness fun by getting out to the parks for Friends of Hudson Parks’ sixth annual fall hiking event. Hikers who complete eight of fourteen designated trails between September 1 and November 30 will earn prizes to commemorate the event. Guided hikes will be available on selected Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. (schedule to be determined). A different park will be featured for each group walk, including the history of the park and other interesting facts.
