Course Description

Week by week you will increase your confidence in your own English and feel more and more comfortable using it outside the classroom. After all, you don’t learn English to use it in a classroom, you learn it to use in the real world.

Each level of the course runs for 11 weeks with each week focusing on a different use of the language. You will be immersed in English with 20 hours of face-to-face classes each week. You will learn how to communicate in different English situations as well as building fluency through communicative and task-based activities. Every week will get you a step closer to mastering English. The course is broken into five (5) levels with each level completed over 11 weeks. Students then have a 2-week holiday before moving on the next level (based on test results in week 5 and week 10).

There has been an increase in people travelling overseas without using an agency. They are booking airfares, accommodation, airport transfers and local tours themselves, and this trend is growing.

This trend includes people who are planning to travel abroad on the working holiday visa. They too will arrange their own language schools, airport transfers and accommodation.

However, in the case of working holiday visa travellers, the time they stay is generally shorter and they like to make their own way and usually want to live like the locals of the country they visit.

Once the working holiday visa traveller arrives they generally live in homestay accommodation and then towards the end of this homestay period they tend to search for share houses and organize themselves for living abroad alone.

There are many things that the working holiday visa traveller may not understand about their newly adopted home. Being in a completely new environment mixed with study, new

These English qualifications are officially certified by the Australian government and recognised nationally. EIP delivers quality training and these courses are very well suited to working holiday learners. The skills and knowledge taught in EIP’s English Proficiency courses focus on enabling learners to master basic English for use in a range of situations in the community and workplaces.

Working holiday support services include: homestay arrangements, orientation on arrival, public transport information, living in Australia advice, looking for share accommodation advice, bank account set up assistance, English lessons for job search, mobile phone, internet access explanation, procedure of residence notification to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, tax file number acquisition assistance, English resume preparation, in school PC’s, access to Wi-Fi, letter writing, temporary luggage storage, domestic travel and second working holiday visa acquisition advice.

Airport pick up can be arranged by either a Japanese or Australian driver. In both cases our staff speak both English and Japanese. Customers will be greeted at the arrivals gate with a name plate using kanji and English then driven directly to their homestay. An introduction and orientation will be carried out by our driver who will then make sure that you are comfortable before leaving you with your new host family.

High quality homestay arrangements are important and provide a comfortable place to start your new Australian life. EIP prides itself on the fact that many of our homestay families have been serving our students for over 10 years. EIP has an extensive selection process; homestay families must meet a very strict selection criteria and are subjected to a home inspection before being contracted by EIP.

friends, new adventures, lots of BBQ’s, drinking parties, going out to bars and clubs or even taking public transport can quite often lead to difficulties because the way things are done can be quite different to what they are used to. It is for this reason that many people still rely on study abroad agents.

In particular, the local support that the study abroad agent can provide is crucial and needed by people on a working holiday visa. This is a very important service, essential for people who start living abroad on their own.

Below is information about EIP’s Certificate I and Certificate II in English Proficiency courses. Included in the fee is EIP’s support system which will look after you to ensure you have a safe and memorable Australian experience.
