What is the Washington State Association? The Association is a collaboration of 19 independent member organizations located in Washington. Altogether we serve over 76,655 Club members in 138 Club sites across 21 counties. The Association drives collective impact for all Clubs in Washington. The Association exists to deepen the impact and mission of Boys & Girls Clubs in communities across Washington through communication, resource development and collaboration. The Association has three strategic priorities: High Impact Programs, Mobilization of Stakeholders, and Sustainable Funding.

PROGRAMSBoys & Girls Clubs are open after school and during the summer to provide children and teens with a safe place to go where they can connect with caring adults. Professional staff and volunteers use a combination of locally developed programs and those developed and tested nationally by Boys & Girls Clubs of America in the following Program Impact Areas: Academic Success, Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles.

6th Annual Keystone Summit. The annual Washington State Keystone Summit is an opportunity for over 200 teens between the ages of 14-18 to come together to discuss critical topics and issues impacting youth today. The Summit develops and empowers teen leaders from throughout Washington State to bring positive change to their communities. Teens and Club staff participate in breakout sessions discussing topics identified and curated by local Club teens including youth suicide prevention, mental health, LGBTQ inclusion, political advocacy, networking and interview preparation, Youth of the Year, and community outreach. Over the course of the Summit, teens hear from powerful motivational speakers, engage in meaningful dialogue and discussion with their peers, participate in community service, and build relationships with fellow Boys & Girls Club leaders.
