2018 ACPA STUDENT AFFAIRS ASSESSMENT INSTITUTE Schedule-at-a-Glance Tracks Program-level Assessment: Primarily designed to meet the needs of professionals who are charged with overseeing the development, implementation, and assessment of programs, services, and initiatives. Participants will walk away with a start-to-finish assessment plan designed to measure and use the results of student learning and programmatic outcomes. Assessment Coordination: Professionals who have responsibilities that include managing a variety of large- scale assessment projects and leading assessment at a department or divisional level will be best suited within the Assessment Coordination track. Participants will walk away with new knowledge and skills for developing a comprehensive department or divisional assessment plan that will be implemented at their institution. Choose Your Own Adventure (CYOA) Sessions – During each CYOA session, choose the topic in which you are most interested and meets your professional development needs. Each CYOA session has a corresponding check mark () representing general alignment with the ACPA/NASPA Professional Competency Areas for Student Affairs Educators within foundational, intermediate, and advanced Assessment, Evaluation, and Research knowledge and skillsets. Assessment Consultation– On-site assessment consultation by our Assessment Institute Faculty will be available throughout the Assessment Institute experience. Discuss content delivered in the sessions you attend and receive guidance or feedback on assessment projects you are planning or have already implemented on your campus. Plenary Sessions – All institute participants will be together during meals and Plenary Sessions. Faculty Roundtables – Small-group discussion on assessment topics and issues with faculty.
