Issues: Outdoor music (between ceremony & reception) while
already an area of noise complaints. Underparking (approx. 280 parking spaces required,
while 94 spaces provided). Proposed off-site parking approx. 800-feet away.
(approx. 20 parking spaces) Proximity to planned & existing residential uses. Existing wedding venues in the area and vacant land
zoned to allow wedding venues.15

Updates/Request for Changes
City of Apache Junction sent letter on 09/18/17; no issues with proposal, however do suggest increased buffering due to number of noise complaints received from this area.

Recommendation: On September 21, 2017 the P&Z Commission
voted 10-0 to recommend denial.
This case will require a 4 out of 5 vote by the Board of Supervisors to approve case PZ-005-17.
However, should the Board of Supervisors move to approve case PZ-005-17, staff has included 31 stipulations.
