Poised on Motu Tevairoa, only a ten-minute boat ride from the airport and fifteen minutes across the lagoon from the village of Vaitape, the Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort & Spa combines heavenly location and proximity to the mainland.

The resort boasts authentic Polynesian style and architecture and certainly offers some of the most traditionally designed rooms and villas in Bora Bora.

While overwater bungalows are Bora Bora’s iconic accommodation type, the resort also features spacious Garden Pool Villas and Beach Suites with jacuzzi and magical views of iconic Mount Otemanu.

The eighty rooms and villas are nestled in a beautiful tropical garden, on the beach and of course above the turquoise lagoon.

The resort is set on beautiful grounds where tropical flowers and old trees abound. With no neighbours around, guests enjoy ultimate privacy and tranquility.

At the Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort & Spa, we care about our environment. The To’a Nui Coral Garden was created in an effort to help restore and rejuvenate broken corals. Coral colonies in distress are identified and placed in a underwater nursery installation to recover. This technique called Biorock helps to activate the recalcifying process of the damaged corals. Once these are mature enough, biologists will reintroduce them into their natural habitat, hence repopulating reefs and coral gardens. Snorkelers can enjoy To’a Nui and the marine bioligists’ work. Our team on property is mostly from the islands, sharing their passion and love for their islands to our guests.

Reaching Us

The Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort & Spa is located on a ‘motu’ islet, a 10-minute boat ride from Bora Bora’s Motu Mute Airport (transfers operated by the resort’s boat shuttles) and a 5-minute boat ride from the resort’s base on the main island of Bora Bora (free boat transfers during the day, small fee applies end of day and evening).

From Tahiti, there are daily flights to the island of Bora Bora (BOB) with the domestic carrier Air Tahiti (check out flight schedule on www.airtahiti.pf).

Upon arrival at the Bora Bora Airport, one of our staff members will greet you and escort you to the resort’s private shuttle boat.

Did you know that Bora Bora’s original name was Pora Pora ? Pora Pora, meaning "first born," came from legends describing this as the first island to rise when supreme god Taaroa, fished it out of the waters after the mythical creation of Havai'i, now known as Raiatea. Although the first letter "B" does not exist in the Tahitian language, when Captain Cook first heard the name he mistook the softened sound of the Tahitian "P" for "B" and called the island Bola Bola.

Tevairoa Restaurant

The highest elevation point at the resort, breakfast is served buffet style with peaceful views of the dazzling lagoon and Mount Otemanu, while dinner gives you the option to dine under the starlit sky.

Tevairoa features international cuisine with a creative French-Polynesian touch.

Every Monday, enjoy a vibrant live Polynesian show.

Miki Miki Restaurant

Lounging by the pool or on the beach, you will not have to go too far for a delicious lunch !

From tasty grilled fish or meat to the island’s specialty ‘poisson cru’, paninis, colorful salads or tasty pasta and pizzas, options at the Miki Miki Restaurant abound for your palate’s pleasure.

In the evening, Miki Miki turns into a Sunset Burger extravaganza, perfect for those wishing to dine casually.

Honu Restaurant

The Honu restaurant opens during the busiest months of the year, from July to November.

You Should Know…

Guests with Limited Mobility

Some of our Overwater Bungalows are equipped for guests with limited mobility.

Cement paths or wooden decks connect the Suites to the public areas (accessible restrooms.)

An elevator in the main building allows access to the Tevairoa Restaurant.

Transfers between the Bora Bora airport and the resort are done by boat. Please note that the boats are not equipped with ramps and embarkation as well as disembarkation may be challenging.

Our staff is available to assist at all times.

The Little Ones

Are considered children those under the age of 13 years old. Are considered babies and infants those under the age of 3 years old.

Single beds are available in most of our rooms and bungalows, except for the Beach Villas which have a Queen bed. Should an extra bed be required, a rollaway bed can be set up in room (extra cost). Please note that it is not possible to add a rollaway bed in the Overwater Suites.

We recommend the Garden Pool Villas and the Beach Suites for families traveling with more than one child or families with young children.

A Kids’ Menu is available in our restaurants. Kids eat for free from the Kids’ Menu (drinks not included and charged at regular rates). A 50% discount applies for meals ordered from the regular menus as well as themed dinners or festive season dinners.

§ Although most resorts do their best to act against insects and mosquitoes, tropical weather conditions can affect the treatments done. Mosquito repellent is highly recommended when traveling in the Islands of Tahiti in general
