Il Green Light Optimal Speed Advisory utilizza le informazioni sui tempi del semaforo ottenute da un’unità di raccolta dati posta a bordo strada e indica al conducente la velocità di crociera da mantenere per riuscire a incontrare sempre il semaforo verde. All’interno del progetto che nel Regno Unito sta prendendo forma sotto il nome di Autodrive, Ford sta inoltre testando un innovativo sistema informativo che ha lo scopo di aggiornare tempestivamente l’automobilista in caso di arresto improvviso di un veicolo che precede, anche se non visibile, contribuendo a mostrare i vantaggi delle auto connesse. The video surveillance system was installed by MBTec, Tuscan company specializing in the design and manufacture of furniture, on one of the yachts shipyard Sanlorenzo using Panasonic IP cameras and is an example of excellence in the safety of particular environments, where you add up monitoring needs of furniture and typical amenities of luxury location to the typical critical of the places very humid and subject to extreme climatic conditions. L’esigenza per il committente era quella di dotare uno yacht della flotta SD di Sanlorenzo di un sistema che potesse sorvegliare tutti gli ambienti, con i rispettivi arredi e apparecchi tecnologici sofisticati, facendo al contempo “dormire sonni tranquilli” a equipaggio e passeggeri, anche in mezzo al mare o in sosta in un porto. La progettazione dell’impianto è partita da un’analisi dell’imbarcazione e delle esigenze specifiche di monitoraggio di alcuni ambienti. Sono state scelte telecamere IP fisse e motorizzate, certificate IP66, in grado quindi di resistere all’acqua e a condizioni di umidità estreme, sia se montate all’esterno che nella sala macchine - luogo che normalmente registra temperature molto alte e tassi elevati di umidità. Sono state impiegate telecamere Panasonic WV-SW458, WV-SW155 e WV-SC385, dotate di telaio antivandalo e capaci di fornire una reportistica video in HD anche in presenza di condizioni climatiche estreme. La plancia di comando dello yacht è stata utilizzata anche come cabina di controllo in tempo reale degli ambienti videosorvegliati.

The A350 XWB aircraft for testing debuted in China touching the cities of Haikou (HAK), Beijing (PEK), Shanghai (SHA), Guangzhou (CAN), and Chengdu (CTU) from 29 October to 8 November. The trip, lasting eleven days, provides static demonstration and flight under dell'Airshow Zhuhai.
