Throughout the class, students develop business ideas, write business plans, conduct market research, pitch their plans to a panel of investors, and actually launch and run their own real, legal, fully formed companies and social movements. Complete with dynamic guest speakers from the local business community and exciting behind-the-scenes trips to local companies, the fun, projects-based YEA! approach empowers students to take charge of their futures in a profound way. The year culminates with our Investor Panel event that takes place April 6th at FAUTech A program ofthe Golden Bell Education Foundation Runway, modeled after the Shark Tank format, in which students pitch their ideas and ask for funding to launch their business. Get Involved! KNOW A STUDENT? Identify a student who would be a good candidate for the program. He/She will need to fill out an application and be interviewed. Applications can be found at YEAUSA.org. VOLUNTEER your time and expertise to influence the lives of our future community business leaders. It takes about 40 volunteers to make this program run successfully. We need teachers, guest speakers, mentors and field trip hosts. SPONSOR There are several levels of sponsorship opportunities available.
