A Minute 2 Win It!

A Minute 2 Win It! is a series of high-energy tabletop group activities using everyday household items and office supplies. After a fun demo and practice session, each challenge is played and teams are scored accord-ingly. Great for daytime teambuilding or after dinner entertainment, this fast-paced event will have everyone laughing, cheering and vying to become A Minute 2 Win It! champions.

Multiple rounds are played using a three-step system of demo, practice and competition. Teams are constantly engaged and focused on continuous improvement in an attempt to maximize their score.

Examples of challenges may include: Back Flip, Moving on Up, Chopsticks Training, Face the Cookie, Ping-Tac-Toe, Card Speed and more! Our unique scoring system keeps the energy flowing and the teams in the thick of the com-petition throughout the entire event.

The program finishes with an exciting awards ceremony in which individual challenge winners are announced, leading to the overall gold medal – A Minute 2 Win It!  Champions!

Everyone had a blast and people came up to me expressing their enthusiasm. Your lead facilitator had an awesome sense of humor and was able to get everyone fired up! I definitely recommend this program to anyone looking for a team-building event that allows people to just relax and break their walls down for a bit. The games allowed for everyone to participate in a way that accomplished all of our goals.”– Sulamita , OMG, Inc.

Bridge to the Future

Our Bridge to the Future team building activity involves working together in sub-teams to build a bridge which represents the future goals and aspirations of your orga-nization, and has the structural integrity to support the entire group for team pictures! There are two amazing aspects of this bridge construc-tion event. Each section will be an independent and artis-tic representation of the organization’s future mission and goals, AND the structure is assembled using cardboard and duct tape as the principal building materials. With a focus on project management skills and creative ingenuity, team leaders will be chosen and are respon-sible for ensuring tight deadlines are met. Each team will delegate roles including cardboard cutters, column designers, decorators, and builders.  Once the bridge is completed, the entire group will walk onto the bridge to prove its structural integrity and to pose for memorable team photos.   If a golf cart is available, it can be driven across the bridge to the cheers of your participants. This is truly one of our best team building activities.

“The Bridge to the Future event was AWESOME!!!  Thank you soooo much for a fabulous time – everyone LOVED the event! I truly thank you again for your patience in adjusting the schedule and delivering the program later in the day. You’re the best!!!  Hope to see you again next year!”– Kate, The BainBridge Companies

Build-a-Raft Competition

Catapult

Build-a-Raft Competition will bring out your group’s competitive spirit as they work to-gether to design, build and race their very own “seaworthy” vessel! Once their initial rafts are built, it’s sink or swim as each team tests their craft to identify possible flaws before the races begin! When the heats start, the excitement mounts – which crew will take home the gold? This dynamic team challenge will test your ingenuity, creativity and problem solving skills.

Teams will utilize their creative brainpower to build a working miniature Catapult, which will launch small objects when completed. This corporate team building activity has two distinct launch phases, which add to the challenge and fun. The first phase is the launch-for-distance competition, while the second phase tests accuracy. The pressure to perform is high, as each team attempts to maximize points.

Chocolate Architect

During this delicious team building event, your group will design and build a themed structure, utilizing vari-ous candies and chocolate delicacies. Your Chocolate Architects will complete challenges using Apple iPads®, in order to gain chocolate building materials and a variety of confectionary decorations. After the last Skittle® is put in place, teams come together to showcase their themed masterpieces!

Participants earn points for their team using Apple iPads® which deliver text, audio and video clues, chocolate trivia and exciting gaming challenges. All your memories of this delicious event will be captured with photos and video of your teams in action.

With the points they’ve earned, teams will purchase a chocolate construction kit as well as their own special materials package. Your group can choose to build landmarks, buildings, stadiums or other recognizable structures from around the world. Will your team be the first to build Mount Rushmore?

Once structures are completed, final touches are added in the form of various colorful confectionaries. When their vision becomes reality, each team’s creative interpretation will be displayed for the entire group to enjoy.

TeamBuilding

“Your Chocolate Architect team builder was a wonderful experience for our group. It was more chal-lenging than I would have thought, especially trying not to eat all the building materials before we fin-ished our part of the final structure! The program pulled us together as a team and was quite tasty too!”– Michael, Raytheon

Competition to Collaboration™

“Our Competition to Collaboration program was very well organized with full communication from the start to the finish. Your two lead facilitators were great. The entire program was fun and we got excellent feedback from our group. Thanks!”– Chris, Uponor, Inc.

Competition to Collaboration™ is a unique program with a powerful message of organi-zational synergy. This engaging session will impart to your group coaching and mentoring skills while celebrating the success of colleagues.

Subgroups working in separate areas will complete challenging tasks, focusing on continuous improvement, effective problem solving strategies and high per-formance benchmarking.

Team One engages in a series of activities such as Kaizen and Speed Order. With several quick rounds taking place between strategy meetings, the goal here is for the team to put together the fastest possible time.

While this is occurring, Team Two is working on a version of the frenetic On Target, attempting to score as many points as possible in multiple 90-second rounds. In both of these activities, special attention is needed to avoid quality breeches, which result in penalties.

Teams are then thrown a curve ball! They now participate in collaboration activities, sharing information with the other team about the task they just completed. They must openly divulge information and strategies, which will position the other team to outperform their bench-mark. With this new twist, success is now measured by their ability to help the other team outperform their previous best effort!

This synergistic approach highlights the positive results of sharing best practices and has a powerful message of team collaboration and celebrating the success of our colleagues.

Igniting Team Performance!™Igniting Team Performance™ (ITP) is a fun, fast-paced and dynamic training program which will measure and define your groups’ current teamwork ability compared to the benchmark of 100’s of other groups we have worked with over the years! Powerful facilitated process dis-cussions will occur throughout the session, with emphasis on workplace application.

In ITP, your team completes a series of progressively more dif-ficult challenges and the results

“Our Igniting Team Performance program was amazing. All that worry, pre-event, was so unneces-sary. Your lead facilitator did a beautiful job and had the group so engaged. So fun! We will definitely use Best Corporate Events in the future. Thanks again for all of your patience with my first event.”– Jeanne, Hendrick Auto Group

are compared to a diverse cross-section of other high-performing corporate, academic and non-profit groups! Guided conversations will uncover strengths and areas for improvement. By immediately turning these debrief lessons into action during the follow-ing challenge, the group becomes well-positioned to deliver a better team performance.

Examples of the goals and outcomes which can be delivered from this program may include:

1. Increased communication skills – promoting effective techniques for information sharing.2. Fun learning and enjoying each other’s company.3. Effective meetings – eliminating analysis paraly-

sis and improving time management.4. Completing projects with limited resources and

yet achieving outstanding results.5. Developing relationships that are built on the

foundation of good intentions and a shared goal.6. Furthering an appreciation of the critical role

that each individual plays in the success of an intact team.

7. Getting to know each other and getting a better understanding of each other’s skill sets while ex-periencing camaraderie and bonding between team members.

Game Show Mania

Game Show Mania is our Jeopardy-style team build-ing game based on the classic TV show. Two or more teams compete simultaneously, as clues are delivered in the form of trivia questions, audio samples, and video clips by an energetic host. State-of-the-art game show podiums, complete with scoring, authentic sounds, and microphones are used, with multiple buzzers ensuring everyone on the team is fully engaged and can buzz in with their answers.

Questions are designed to cater to domestic or interna-tional groups, with topics such as World History, Sports, Entertainment, Pop Culture, and more. Guided by a team captain and supported by the audience’s energy and enthusiasm, one team’s knowledge will catapult them to the winner’s circle.

For larger groups, an audience response polling system is used to allow each team to answer multiple-choice trivia questions. This determines the order in which the teams are invited to the main stage for a round of “Jeopardy.”

This program can also be delivered for training purposes, evaluating employee retention, with the use of questions, based on your company’s products, history, philosophy, and management.

“Your lead facilitator did a great job getting the crowd energetic and he had a great sense of humor. Our Charity Game Show was on time and fun was had by all. Thank you for your team’s efforts in making our meeting a success!”– Darrin, Kiewit Corporation

Go-Kart Competition

“Simply stated, the Go-Kart Competition event very effectively demonstrated the importance of team dynamics in a collaborative organizational effort to produce desired outcomes. That it was a lot of fun was icing on the cake.”– Gary, Excell

In this high-speed, team building competition, your group will be formed into racing teams whose goal will be to build a custom concept car. Our Go-Kart Competi-tion promotes collaboration to achieve a common goal.

The first order of business is electing a Pit Crew Boss who will provide overall supervision. In addition to axles, wheels, limited lumber, and tools, teams will be provided with a blueprint for their chassis, which they must follow to ensure design integrity as well as safety.

Creativity comes into play as the crews design and assem-ble the body of their go-kart—will they choose Formula One style, sports coupe, muscle car or something out of the ordinary, like a tractor? During vehicle construction, other team members will decorate their driver’s suit to really look the part while “at the wheel” of their car.

To fire up team spirit and prepare their driver for com-petition, team members will create and perform their very own “Champions’ Chant.” All concept cars must pass a safety inspection before they will be allowed to race. Once the racers have passed inspection, drivers will suit up and prepare for competition.

Teams will race against each other to see who will make it to the final winner’s circle and receive the gold!

Let the Games Begin is a fun and engaging team build-ing tournament that combines high-energy competition with basic athletic ability, allowing for full and active par-ticipation. After a group warm-up, teams will be formed and provided colored bandanas for easy identification. Next, your very own VIP will take the opening lap around the playing field and the games begin.

Pipeline

Pipeline is a synergistic team building event where each sub-team will build a portion of a larger marble delivery system. Ultimately, all these sections come together for an incredible ending display of creativity, precision, and execution. With teams collaborating to carefully plan each stage of their building strategy, every participant is given the opportunity to con-tribute in the concept, design, branding, and production of the pipeline.

Speed Networking

Speed Networking – This engaging get-to-know-you event incorporates a series of fun and challenging icebreaker activities, which are conducted in small table group rotations. After every 15-minute challenge, teams are quickly reformed and a new challenge begins, allowing for maximum networking opportunities. This team building program is a fun and engaging way to strengthen bonds and encourage open and productive workplace interaction.

Survey Says...

Survey Says is our version of the internationally beloved Family Feud TV show.  With fast paced rounds of survey questions specifically written for corporate groups, win-ning “families” move forward to the semi-finals and to the “feud finale.” Our unique design keeps everyone involved throughout the show, regardless of your group size. Survey Says has a real TV game show atmosphere, with an answer board beamed up via projection, and sound effects for lockout, correct, and wrong answers. At the face-off player positions, extra-large buttons make it easy for contestants to buzz in. For larger groups, an audience response polling system is used to allow each team to answer multiple-choice triviaquestions. This determines the order in which the teams are invited to the main stage for a round of “Feud.” No matter how many points are on the game show score-board, you can be confident that you will score big with your participants! Charitable Option: In addition, the program can be delivered as a charitable event. At the culmination of the game show, your VIP will deliver a giant check, signed by the members of the winning team, to a representative of the charity you choose.

“The group is still talking about the OUSTANDING Survey Says game show you did for us. I received major kudos for this event and for your personable host. We want you to come back and do our 2016 Kick Off Event, so start thinking of ideas for us! Absolute pleasure to work with you and looking forward to doing it again!”– Trish, GenNx360 Capital Partners

Build-a-Wheelchair®

Build-a-Wheelchair®  was born out of a desire to help American veterans and others with various mobility chal-lenges. This team building event is another outstanding corporate social responsibility program designed and trademarked by Best Corporate Events.

In this fun and worthwhile program, groups use team-work skills and iPads® loaded with our proprietary app to complete tasks to earn the materials necessary to assemble, test, and decorate these new wheelchairs for donation. This event will touch your teams’ heart and make it a day that all will remember.

After your teams have built their wheelchairs, they will proceed to the safety station for a mechanical inspec-tion. When possible, your group may also decorate the wheelchairs, write notes of encouragement and engage in an obstacle course maneuverability challenge against other teams. The wheelchairs will then be staged with your group for a memorable photo shoot. The focal point of this CSR event is to benefit the countless people who, with your gener-ous donation, will be gifted with these beautiful, brand new wheelchairs.

“Thank you for the wonderful Build-a-Wheelchair event you just delivered to our team.  It was the highlight of our meeting and a great time was had by all. The vibe throughout the entire event was amazing. I can’t thank you enough! We will certainly be booking with you again!”– Dawn, The Hartford

At BCE, we wanted to design a program for underprivileged teens. When we asked our top national charities, they said, “We need guitars!” Problem was, guitar kits all take days to stain and build. So we hired a guitar company to manufacture a new type of guitar kit just for us that could be assembled in an hour and Build-a-Guitar™ was born.– Scott Flynn, CEO of BCE

Build-a-Guitar™

Music can have a very powerful, positive effect on young people. At Best Corporate Events, we have pro-grams for toddlers, for the military, and for the disabled but we didn’t have a program for teens... Announcing our Build-a-Guitar™ charitable team-building program.

Your group will be formed into Rock Bands (teams). The Bands will have a blast building guitars, working through iPad® challenges, and learning, playing and singing a song for the group!

These guitar kits are specially built for Best Corporate Events. The surfaces are finished and they can be as-sembled without any soldering, glueing or drilling, as part of an exciting corporate team building activity.

First, your team will attempt to win enough points with their iPad® challenges and activities to purchase the parts necessary to build your guitars. After the guitar parts have been awarded, your team will break into sub-teams to assemble two electric guitars and to start working on a song for the finals.

So, let’s get rockin’ and build some guitars for future mu-sicians of America who will never forget your wonderful gift to their school or organization. The program ends with a representative from the charity accepting the guitars and thanking your group for their donation.

Charity Mini-Golf Course Build

“We had a great experience last year with your team, so we were interested in possibly working together again. The program you delivered this year, a Charity Mini-Golf Course Build, went great. It is really refreshing to work with all the same people again this year. It’s so rare, but really makes me glad that we can work with your company again and again!”– Jess, Kennedy Health

Charity Mini-Golf Course Build is one of the most popular socially responsible teamwork activities offered by Best Corporate Events. In this program, your group is required to design and build a mini golf course. Green carpeting is used as the putting surface and canned goods, boxed goods, and other building materi-als are provided to create bumpers, turns, and special obstacle challenges. Creativity, resource management, and teamwork all come into play in this engaging charity event. Teammates work together on the concept, construction, theme, and rules of their hole. Various roles are assigned such as golfers, scorekeepers, and course officials who en-sure that the rules of each hole are adhered to. Next, the competition begins shotgun style with an exciting round of golf! Both newcomers and experienced mini-golfers can enjoy this fun event and the winning team will be anyone’s guess! Once the tournament is complete, the donations will be boxed and presented to a local food bank. Your team will feel a sense of accomplishment and the joy that comes from giving to those less fortunate.

Minute 2 Win It! for Charity

In Minute 2 Win It! for Charity, teams participate in mul-tiple rounds racing to earn and assemble care packages and preparing to compete in popular tabletop chal-lenges using playing cards, pencils, cups etc. This team building CSR program will bring out the best in team spirit and a sense of community responsibility. This program contains charitable and competitive ele-ments and includes longer Head-to-Head Challenges, which teams accomplish to earn their care package materials, and Minute Challenges, which are scored as part of the competition.

The rounds begin with a demo of upcoming Minute Challenges, followed by the Head-to-Head activity, which teams must complete in order to begin work on their care packages. Any remaining time may be used as a practice session before each Minute Challenge is played and teams are scored accordingly.

This is one of our most competitive teambuilding events, and works as a perfect addition to any corporate or social gathering, or as a stand-alone activity.

Your group’s bond will be stronger than ever as they compete for a cause. At the program’s end, we will have a representative receiving your care packs address your group and thank them for their generous donation.

“Our Minute 2 Win It! for Charity program surpassed our expecta-tions. The facilitators were fun and the icebreaker they picked was a fantastic way to get the group energized. Operation Military Care

“Our Operation Military Care program was very well organized. Great icebreaker, engaging chal-lenges, our group loved meeting the men and women in our armed forces as well. We received great feedback on the presentation and the facilitator. Huge hit! We loved it. A 10 out of 10!”– Cara, Southwire Company

Operation Military Care is a unique opportunity to sup-port the brave men and women serving our country. This charitable event starts with a fast-paced icebreaker, then teams work through a series of engaging exercises, iPad® challenges, and photo and video activities to obtain the points needed to earn care package contents. Teams also earn points by demonstrating high performing team attributes such as clear communication, leadership, in-novation and team spirit. After all the items have been acquired, teams will assem-ble their military care packages and add personal touches in the form of letters written to the recipients. With larger groups, each care package can also be deco-rated on one end so the boxes can be assembled into a giant American Flag at the end of the event. When pos-sible, a representative from a Military Charity will be on hand to accept your generous donation on behalf ofthese deserving heroes. The boxes, containing the items most requested by per-sonnel in the field, will be sent directly to organizations, which identify individuals who would benefit most by receiving mail from home. Your team will leave this event with a deep sense of accomplishment and patriotism.

“Our Project Alzheimer’s event yes-terday was great.  I have received very positive comments from our entire group about the activity and about your lead facilitator. All in all it was a spectacular event and I would like to thank your entire team for their support.”– Tracy, Abbott

Project Alzheimer’s™

Project Alzheimer’s™ was inspired by the film “Alive Inside.” It is a unique charity program designed to help Alzheimer’s patients reawaken their souls through the simple and profound experience of listening to their favorite music – there is no greater reward than that! The event kicks off with a moving program introduction along with footage from “Alive Inside” explaining the tre-mendous impact their donation items will have. Working together on fun activities presented via iPads® involvingmusic trivia, pop culture, photo, and video clues, teams earn iPods®, headphones and other items for the Alzheimer’s and dementia patients.

The organization receiving your donation trains pro-fessionals how to set up personalized music playlists, delivered on iPods, for those in their care. Extensive neuroscience research discovered these musical favorites tap deep memories not lost to dementia and can bring patients back to life, enabling them to feel like them-selves again, to converse, socialize and stay present. Donating items that can literally change people’s quality of life will touch your groups’ hearts and elevate morale, creating lasting memories that can later be shared via a link to the photos and videos captured on the iPads®!

Our clients have been asking us to develop a program to benefit children under 5 years old. What could be better than a Wagon Build Donation? So we partnered with America’s wagon company, Radio Flyer, we designed a fun, fast-paced program with cool iPad® activities that results in the construction of bright red Radio Flyer wagons and dolls for young children.

Wagon Build Donation™

Wagon Build Donation™ is a charitable teambuilding program dedicated to the younger children in America who are just learning about life. Wagons are a great learn-ing tool for preschoolers, teaching them coordination skills, imagination skills, social skills and much more.

Your group will be tasked with building full-size, Red Steel Radio Flyer® Ranger Wagons with a rear seat back for added comfort and a seatbelt for added safety! These beautiful wagons are guaranteed to put smiles on the faces of the underprivileged children receiving them.

You’ll also be assembling stuffed animals or dolls to accompany each red wagon you build, giving each child a friend to share their ride.

To build the wagons, you’ll need all the pieces, the han-dle, the wheels – and, of course the tools! But we are not just going to give them to you – you have to earn them by solving puzzles, answering trivia, and memorializing photo and video challenges on iPads we provide.

Your group will walk away feeling energized and hopeful when you see the effects of this heartwarming program. It will drive your passion and lift your energy when a rep-resentative from the local charity shows up to personally thank you and your group for your generous donation.

We Care for Schools™

Education is one of the most important factors in a child’s life. Our We Care for Schools™ team builder program allows your group to support the local school district, teachers and students by providing items that are in short supply. This charitable CSR event includes fun iPad activities, photo and video challenges and the assembly of colorful bags filled with supplies for Classrooms, the Nurses’ office, and Art Departments.

When in need of comfort and assistance, children rely on the school nurse or administrators for help. Nurse Kits contain first aid supplies, such as bandages, gloves, and hot and cold packs, which are sorely needed by care givers to properly treat sick or injured children.

Art in the classroom is usually one of the first programs to be impacted by budget cuts. Our Art Kits contain colored pencils, sketchpads, paint brushes, etc., which go a long way to keeping this important creative outlet available to children.

When possible, a representative from a local school will address your group and thank them for their generous donation. We Care for Schools is the perfect way to let teachers, administrators, and children know someone cares.

“Everything went great at our We Care for Schools programs. Your lead facilitator was really easy to work with and had a great, outgoing personality, which was perfect for the event. Professional Development

Professional Development Meets Technology

We deliver eight professional development workshops, each focusing on the critical core competencies required to succeed in today’s business environment. We com-bine professional facilitation with an engaging and dynamic approach to learning and retention.

Technology-driven improvements have had a significant impact on our ability to deliver programs while enhancing true workplace inspiration. In the Presentation Skills workshop, our integration of iPad® “flow-filming” allows each participant to be taped numerous times in rapid-sequence with real-time visual and verbal feedback for immediate re-application and practice.

In another example of technology enhancement, any workshop can also incorpo-rate individual keypads for accurate testing and data collecting at any time during the session.

We also lead the way in blending professional development options with powerful team building options. For example, after a morning of MBTI or DiSC training, our “Igniting Team Performance” session will guide participants through challenging ac-tivities which bring to life the specific behavioral and personality styles uncovered from the morning session, allowing the team to get to know each other better, and experience a deeper understanding of the tools and terminology uncovered.

Emotional IntelligenceWhen applied in an organization, an emotionally intelligent company is one in which eachemployee has a better understanding of how he or she can manage emotions more effec-tively, while taking responsibility to contribute to their fullest. Emotional Intelligence (E.I.) is the ability to sense, understand and effectively apply the power of our wide-ranging field ofemotions, tapping into it as a source of energy and a guiding influence.

The application of E.I. at work can create a culture of trust, exceptional “internal customer”loyalty, enhanced social awareness, and honest and open communication. Each participantwill gain a better understanding of E.I. as a tool for personal and professionalgrowth as it taps into the basic understanding of human emotion and motivation.

THIS WORKSHOP WILL:• Explore the business & scientific cases for Emotional Intelligence• Teach the building of exceptional organizations: Six Components of “E.I.”• Discuss ethics, standards, strategy and dealing with reality• Look at assessing your emotional quotient (E.Q.) and the applications for E.Q.• Explore how to achieve long-term measurable change

Myers-Briggs Type IndicatorMBTI can radically improve team dynamics by presenting a clear picture of the strengths and benefits associated with specific personality traits, while giving everyone the tools and com-mon language needed to harness individual potential! Having diverse personalities within a team can be a tremendous advantage to a department or any intact working team. Understanding this asset can enhance productivity while decreasing unproductive conflict. The MBTI begins with an assessment which indicates personality preference. It allows each participant to gain an in-depth snapshot of the strength that they bring to the team. When the data is looked at as a whole, it will show the composition of your group and how to use the results to enhance communication while allowing the group leader to develop a pre-ferred style of team management.

THIS WORKSHOP WILL:• Increase awareness of the types of personalities that make up your group• Demonstrate how awareness of personality styles can translate into positive behavior• Clearly define personality types so that the terminology can be implemented regularly in the workplace, allowing individuals to address differences respectfully and productively• Describe how knowledge of learning and communication preferences can affect others

Chili Cook-Off

“We had a great experience yesterday and our clients had a ton of fun at their Chili Cook-Off with iPads. We really appreciate you guys making it such a memorable team building experience and I look forward to working with you all in the future. Many Thanks!”– Lacey, Kennedy Creative Events

Our festive Chili Cook-Off is a spicy cooking team build-ing event designed to increase camaraderie within a group. Culinary skills will come in handy as each team develops their own chili recipe to create an unforgettable southwestern delicacy.

Teams will each have a designated table equipped with all the necessary ingredients, cookware, utensils, and a stove. Several tasks will be occurring simultaneously in-cluding prepping and cooking the chili, decorating their head chef’s apron, and creating a presentation and chant that will showcase the uniqueness of their team.

Food Truck Face-Off

“Chef Matt, your facilitator, had the room well organized and ready to start when we were. Even with 600 people, the judging was completed in time for our evening event and the medals were a great hit. Please thank the entire team that worked to make this event a success. We appreciate the long hours and hard work.”– Sharon, 84.51

Food Truck Face-Off turns the American phenomenon of food trucks into a team building competition – resulting in the most delicious face-off imaginable. A kickoff competition leads to teams choosing their cuisine - will it be All-American, Mexican, Mediterranean, Asian, Vegetarian or Desserts? Once teams have chosen their cuisines, they get to work, picking a company name, designing a logo, and building a large truck façade with cardboard, duct tape anddecorative materials. Teams also create their menus, as well as a commercial to be performed and judged. To test each team’s culinary creativity, specific ingredients will be provided, and suggestions of the dishes to be served, but there will be no actual recipes. In addition to creating a tasty dish, teams are tasked with making it visually appealing, using “food truck” materials including paper plates, paper bowls, wax paper, and the like. Working as a cohesive team, participants will attempt to out-cook, out-market, and out-score their competition, in an effort to win the gold medals. The final stage, ofcourse, is roaming from truck to truck, experiencing these delectable delights!

Rodeo Games & Grillin’

“We combined two popular outdoor activities, cooking and games, into a fun, Western-Style program that will have your group hooting and hollering for more. To our Rodeo-themed games we added a good old-fashioned BBQ challenge followed by eating and drinking and having a good time!”– Ray, Best Corporate Events

Pull yourself up by your bootstraps, and mosey on over for a grilling experience you won’t soon forget! Rodeo Games & Grillin’  is a set of outdoor group activi-ties that combines competitive rodeo-styled games and challenges with a good old-fashioned American barbe-cue – all fused together with a Wild West flare!

The competition starts off with a rousing old-west-style kick-off that gets the energy flowing. Your group will be formed into teams (posses) with each member receiving an identifying colored bandana. Posses roam the frontier, stopping at each outpost to compete in old-west-style challenges in an attempt to earn the highest score.

The scores earned by completing these challenges deter-mine team rankings. In rank order, posses will be invited to the general store to select their slider main ingredients and their choice of bread, salad fixin’s, fruit, coleslaw, beans, and more. Teams will grill their patties and top with cheeses, veggies, and sauces – and toss their prized salad – all for judging by the sheriff & his deputies.

Throughout the event, participants work together at-tempting to out-cook, out-shoot, and out-score their competition, to earn the most points, ultimately striking gold (gold medals, that is!).

Tapas and Sangria Making

Tapas and Sangria Making is a Spanish culinary chal-lenge. Now enjoyed everywhere, Tapas originated as appetizers or snacks in Spanish cuisine. Flavorful Sangria is a beverage from Spain and Portugal, which normally consists of wine, fruit, sweetener, and a touch of brandy.

Each team will choose a name for their winery, develop their own brand of Sangria using ingredients from our marketplace, and design a logo used to market their unique concoction.

Teams also create Tapas based upon our delicious cold menu, so no stove is required! Ingredients and a dish description will be provided but not a specific recipe, and that’s where the team building comes in.

Lastly, we stage a Tapas and Sangria tasting contest and award culinary gold medals for Best Tasting Tapas, Best Tasting Sangria, and Best Marketing Campaign.

These tasty team exercises now feature Apple iPads® delivering text, audio and video clues, Tapas and Sangria Trivia, exciting gaming challenges, and the ability to cap-ture and save all your memories with photos and video of your teams in action. This program encourages creativity, experimentation, division of duties, and team support.

“What a fun team builder the Tapas and Sangria event was! Our team was so creative. We picked the perfect teammates for the artistic elements and the com-mercial. Unfortunately our Sangria didn’t win any prizes. So we drank the Sangria from another team! Thank you for a great time.”– Sonya, Verizon
