2016 Spring Sahavas Invitation and Program Saturday 1 st – Monday 3 rd October (Queen’s Birthday long weekend) Avatar’s Abode, Kiels Mt. QLD “Be ready to step into the intimacy of Sahavas, there you will find the treasure complete.” Meher Baba Our guests are some of those fortunate souls who met Avatar Meher Baba in Sydney or Melbourne in 1956, at Avatar’s Abode in 1958, or at the East-West Gathering in Poona, India in 1962. They are Cynthia Borg, Bob Buchanan, Bernard Bruford, Margaret Harrison, Ken Davis, Peter Baulch and Michael Le Page. From 1956 – 1969 Baba’s sister Mani, under Baba’s express direction, corresponded with Baba’s western family of lovers and followers through the Family Letters. These Family Letters contained many messages from Baba and occasional orders; these orders provided an important link between Baba and His lovers, and more importantly an opportunity, in Baba’s words, for His lovers “to help Him in His work”, which at the time was His Universal Work in seclusion. Other guests will include some of the young seekers from that time who, during the 1960s, came to accept Meher Baba as their spiritual Master. If you were one of these young seekers please join us and contribute. These "young ones" were also receiving the Family Letters and some attended the Great Darshan at Guruprasad in Poona in May 1969, after Baba dropped His physical form. At the Sahavas, both through their personal stories of meeting Baba and/or through the messages and directives received through the Family Letters, we will examine the changing relationship between Baba and His Australian lovers and followers during this period.

2016 Spring Sahavas Invitation and Program

Saturday 1st – Monday 3rd October (Queen’s Birthday long weekend) Avatar’s Abode, Kiels Mt. QLD

“Be ready to step into the intimacy of Sahavas, there you will find the treasure complete.” Meher Baba

Our guests are some of those fortunate souls who met Avatar Meher Baba in Sydney or Melbourne in 1956, at Avatar’s Abode in 1958, or at the East-West Gathering in Poona, India in 1962.
