Susan Roberts Frew, President of Sunshine Plumbing Heating Air grew their company from $175,000 in 2012 to 1,400,000 in 2015 by using a marketing plan focused on their target demographic: Women! Understand HOW women chose their contractor, WHY they will call you again and how to appeal to the fastest growing population in the US,; the woman homeowner. Sunshine uses the “secret sauce” of online reviews, follow up calls, email biography of technicians, follow up calls, thank you notes, brownies & wine. Susan will share Sunshine’s 12 points of “love” that they use in every customer transaction.

No one likes complaints, but there is a lot we can learn as an industry when we examine the recent complaint history andtrends of HVAC and plumbing complaints in Minnesota. Learn more about the positives (yes, we said positives) aboutleveraging complaints for your business, including BBB’s complaint resolution process and how to resolve and/or de-escalate complaints where possible.

This session will provide an update to equipment and loop options for geothermal heat pump systems. An overview of design software to match systems to the load requirements. Energy cost comparisons will be discussed; for the homeowner, “What do the savings mean”; for the contractor, “Am I busy at the right stuff”.

2:00 – 3:00 pm Geothermal Loop Field Design Steve Anderson, K&E Distributing

This session will expand on loop options, piping options, circulating pump options, pressure drop calculations and installation techniques.
