Mission Statement The Cape Cod Community College Educational Foundation is a nonprofit organization supporting the mission of Cape Cod Community College, its students, its faculty, and its community endeavors, by raising and managing funds, encouraging endowments, and supporting the College’s objectives.

Dear Friends of CCCC,

The 2016 Report of Giving is best described as an impact report. We know you donate to Cape Cod Community College Educational Foundation to make a difference. And, you do make a tangible difference in the lives of students and faculty at CCCC.

In 2016, the College Foundation awarded nearly $200,000 in scholarships to current CCCC students and to those who graduated and were off to pursue additional higher education. Students express to us their deep gratitude for these scholarships, and make clear that the aid has an impact on their ability to pursue their dreams of completing college.

The College Foundation provided $610,000 for various College programs and activities in 2016. You, our donors and friends, make this possible.

A generous donor contributed funds in 2016, specifically enabling the Foundation to hire a Coordinator for Alumni Engagement. The goal of this new position is to recon-nect alumni of CCCC with their alma mater. We hired Suzan Hurd Greenup as the coordinator. She is serving as an ambassador, working to build a program of engage-ment to encourage alumni participation and support through strong communication, personal interaction, organization of regular special events, and reunions.

The first major step is acquiring and updating contact information for our alumni. We know this work will take time but, it is unquestionably worthwhile to do so. If you know of alumni who have fallen out of touch with CCCC, please encourage them to contact us at foundation@capecod.edu.

The work of the Foundation takes a team! Suzan is the newest member of our staff. Judy Widger serves as Finance and Database Administrator, and Mary Cavanaugh is the Foundation’s Development Associate. We could not achieve the Foundation’s mission without them. Supporting our team is a group of dedicated volunteers – the Board of Directors.

We thank you for your generous support in 2016. We look forward to sharing more great examples of the impact of your giving at Cape Cod Community College.
