The advantages of using cosmetic apparatus are in the effectiveness and sustainability of the treatments, the penetration and the improvement in the quality of the skin.

MICRODERMABRASION

Microdermabrasion carefully removes the dead skin cells using diamonds. The regeneration of the skin is stimulated which means that active agents can be absorbed in large quantities. The skin’s texture is improved, it is clearer and smoother. Also pigment disorders as well as scars are reduced.

On your day of arrival you will receive your personal appointment schedule. Feel free to contact our members of staff on the reception as well as our department for physiotherapy and massage, or the department for beauty and cosmeticsfor further appointments.

• Our well-being team consists of both female and male therapists. Please let us know of your preference when booking the appointments.

• Please inform us, when booking your well-being appointments about any important medical facts or illnesses such as cardiovascular disorders,allergies, diabetes, metal implants etc.

• It is also vital that you inform us in the case of pregnancy or breast-feeding, so that we can take into account the special requirementsand give you suitable advice regarding the treatments.

• Please inform us as early as possible if you have to cancel one of the appointments. A cancellation that is free of charge is only possible if done so at least 24 hours in advance. The full cost of the treatment will be charged to your account in the case of cancellations at short notice.

• The duration of the treatments includes the treatment itself, as well as the greeting and farewell by the therapist that treated you, as well as any questions that you might have.

• We would like to ask you to kindly switch off your mobile phone during the treatment.

PHASE II: THE STRICT TRANSITIONAL PHASE

This phase will last for a minimum of 2 weeks your body will begin to adjust to the new, healthy nutrition. You have a private health insurance and you need a medicalprescription for treatments. This can be issued by a surgeon,your attending physician or by our own in-house practitioner,Dr. Köhler. Recommended is a minimum stay of 10 days andat the earliest, 5 days after the operation.

We offer post-operative aftercare on toes, ankles, knees, hips and shoulders (limited), elbows and hands.

Travelling to and from the hotel has to be organised indepen-dently and you should be mobile, with or without supportingapparatus. The costs for accommodation and board have to be carried solely by the participant and are usually not supported by the private insurances. The Allgäu Sonne is really the ideal location to hold an exclusive conference or a corporate event. You will find everything you need in our first-class equipped conferenceroom in order to work efficiently, catering for up to 30 persons.Your event will be an unforgettable experience due to the ex-clusive ambience of our hotel, the attentive 5-star service andthe variety of possibilities for an individual supporting activityprogramme.

Our newly renovated restaurants, the open plan conservatoryand our restaurant terrace, with a breathtaking view of the Allgäu mountain range, provide your receptions, Christmas celebrations and family occasions with a suitable framework.The individually chosen delicacies of our Head Chef put theicing on the cake!

Our conference room (65 m²) is equipped with modern technology (W-LAN, flat-screen TV, projection screen, projector, DVD-player, microphone etc.) and has a lot of daylight due to the floor-to-ceiling windows, on the south side of the room.



Interesting FactsHOTEL PRICES

Our hotel prices are per person and day including breakfast. The town of Oberstaufen have a charge for Visitor’s Tax of € 2,50 per adult/day and children from 7 years up to 14 years cost € 1,25 per child/day.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

Our rooms are divided into various types of categories. It isn’t possible forus to reserve a certain room number or floor in advance. On arrival, therooms are available from 16.00 hours onwards; you are invited to use ourfacilities in the meantime. On departure we would ask you to vacate yourroom by 12.00 noon. All of our rooms are equipped with: a Loewe Flatscreen-TV, Wi-Fi/W-Lan, minibar, telephone, private safe and hairdryer.

CANCELLATION

In the event of cancellation of your reservation it is up to 14 days prior toarrival without any charges. Cancellation between 14 days and 7 daysprior to arrival is a charge of 50% of the rental price and later 80% of thetotal rental price. In case of early departure the guest or recipient is obligedto pay also 80% of the rental price. Cancellation has to be in written form.If we are able to rebook the accommodation without costs then there willbe no charge.

PARKING

There is limited outdoor free parking available, for an underground parking space we charge € 10,- per car/day.

DOGS

Dogs are only allowed upon previous approval as only certain apartmentsin our Country Houses are available. Please consider that dogs are prohibited in the main building including our restaurants and spa area-due to hygiene and our sanatorium permit. We charge € 15,- per dog/day, costs are without provisions.
