ABOUT US
HERISCAPE is a non-profit-making association which offers to international public and private bodies a technical consulting activity concerning either architectu-ral, urban and landscape plans and projects or re-searches and training. It is just this mutual syner-gy between the project activity and the scientific and cultural ones which allows the association to better direct its actions in a more effective way and answer the rising needs on these issues.
HERISCAPE was founded in 2008 by some professionals who have been working for many years in the field of town planning, architectural and urban design, conservation, rehabilitation and valorization of cultural and landscape heri-tage.
Its founder members are: Felicia Bottino, archi-tect, formerly professor of Town Planning at the
IUAV of Venice and with a well-established expe-rience of urban and landscape planning; Daniele Pini, architect, professor of Urban Design at the University of Ferrara and expert for national and international bodies both on the subjects of ur-ban design or cultural and architectural heritage conservation and rehabilitation; Filippo Boschi, architect, Master in Urban Design at Berkeley and Ph.D at Bologna University, expert of regional and city planning, urban design and landscaping; Va-lentina Ridolfi, degree in History of Art and expert of European project, who has been working for several years in drawing up and managing cultu-ral, research and training projects.
Some young architects regularly cooperate with Heriscape as well as several multidisciplinary ex-perts and advisors who take part in the activities implemented by the association itself, on the ba-sis of the different specific issues dealt.

experts, HERISCAPE can carry out a specific
knowledge in experimental planning and project ac-

HERISPHERA - Excellence – Initiative in VET
The Project comes from the need to diversify in terms of com-patibility between Romanian educational process with the European one in training professionals in the restoration and conservation of historical architectural heritage. The project aims to create a center of excellence in VET Oradea to imple-ment its learning platform , achieved by transferring a model of the innovative platform Aquisav* . Heriscape as a project partner coordinates training program, with Architects Asso-ciation of Oradea, edits a façade restoration handbook with Les Compagnons du Devoir and cooperate in the creation and implementation of the center of excellence.
