SAD BUT TRUE STATISTICS
1,500 Pastors leave the ministry each month, due to burnout, conflict or moral failure.
Doctors, Lawyers and Pastors have the most problems with drugs, alco-hol and suicide.
90% of those in ministry work more than 50 hours per week.
75% of those in ministry report severe stress causing anguish, worry, bewil-derment, anger, depression, fear, and alienation.
70% of those in ministry have no close friends.
45% of those in ministry say they have had to take a break from the ministry due to depression or burnout.
33% of those in ministry feel burned out within the first five years.

80% of pastors say they have insuffi-cient time with their spouse.
80% believe that pastoral ministry affects their families negatively.
94% feel under pressure to have a perfect family.
100% need the Body of Christ to Pray for them, Love on them, and Support them in their journey.

Our mission is to serve those who serve. By offering a place of rest and relaxation, hope and help to those in ministry that need a break prior to reaching burnout.
By offering a 10 day private and safe re-treat, providing transportation, accom-modations, meals and entertainment, we hope to be a blessing to 1,000+ a year, in sunny Arizona.
For those who are unable to afford this on their own, we will provide provision grants to them, to ensure everyone who needs rest will be able to receive it.
La Siesta is a 501(c)3 and all Donations are tax deductible.
We are currently campaigning for the funds to purchase the turnkey property.
We need 1,500 people to catch the vision and donate $500 ASAP. People who have a burden to help those who help others each and every day.
