PG&E Fees

For Customers Starting SCP Service Before July 1, 2015 -

The following fees apply to customers who start receiving

service with SCP before July 1, 2015. Customers who start SCP

service after July 1, 2015 may have a different set of PG&E fees.

PG&E fees for power delivery will continue for all SCP

customers. In addition, two fees will be applied.

The Power Charge Indifference Adjustment (PCIA) is intended

to ensure that customers who switch to SCP pay for certain

costs related to energy commitments made by PG&E prior to

their switch. Customers who are enrolled in PG&E’s Medical

Baseline Allowance program are not subject to the PCIA fee.

The Franchise Fee is collected by PG&E to pay for the right to

use public streets to run gas and electric service.
