2015 Training Conference
Your twenty-sixth annual training conference will again be hosted by the City of Car-rollton and the Carrollton Po-lice Department August 25-28, 2015. Attendees should re-port to the Carrollton Cultural Arts Center located at 251 Alabama Street between the hours of 0700 to 0900 to par-ticipate in the registration process. Opening remarks begin at 0900 in the audito-rium.
Attendees will find ample parking located in the parking deck adjacent to the cultural arts center. There are numer-ous eating establishments within walking distance of the conference.
Don’t miss a quality opportu-nity to train.
Register now in order to confirm your training track selections
Training will be conducted until 1700 hours each scheduled training day.
Attendees will have the opportu-nity to choose between two conference formats. First, is the total lecture format where enrol-lees can choose to attend the conference in the air-conditioned luxury of the audito-rium. Second, we will offer sev-eral break-out sessions which will provide the opportunity to enhance physical skills. Here, focus is on strengthening your
personal skill-set as a means of honing your instructional knowl-edge, skill and ability. Obviously, there will be limitations related to proximity of off-site locations and subsequent enrollment re-strictions. To that end, break-out sessions are limited to 20 participants per session. The Glock Armorer Course has a cap of 35 students. Those registrants who do not indicate a class pref-
erence will be enrolled in the lecture track, by default. Once break-out sessions have reached capacity, they will be closed and the lecture slated for the same time frame will become the de-fault registration. Enroll early to secure your desired training block.
