CHEER COACHES
I have a passion to see students embrace their call as leaders . What better way to foster that, but within the cheerLEADER program . I’m excited to work with the coaches and cheerleaders as we integrate leadership within our cheer program . Collaborating with other coaches, ASB, fans, alumni and others to help King’s become not just school but an EXPERIENCE . An experience to be proud of - inspiring hearts and equipping minds!! My three kids (17, 12, 10) and I are happy to be a part of the King’s family . John 10:10 says that the thief comes to steal, rob and destroy but that our God has come so that we can have an EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANT LIFE!! We might as well start now! Go King’s! KHS IS RED HOT!
NADINE PETERSON ASSISTANT COACHAfter years of cheering in high school and at the college and professional level, it’s my first year coaching . I’m learning so many new and exciting things that every experience has been memorable . I most enjoy seeing the girls faces light up after hitting a new stunt for the first time! In my spare time, my boyfriend and I love to go on hikes with our dog Hazel and try new sushi restaurants . My favorite verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 – God will guide our path when we trust in him .
AUDREY WILSON HEAD COACHI am a King’s alum, graduating in 2003 after cheering here for three years . I attended California Baptist University where I cheered my senior year and coached at Riverside Christian High School for two years . For the past three years I have been an assistant cheer coach at King’s and now am head coach in my fourth year here .
Romans 5:3-5 reminds us that through our challenges we can learn to persevere which will lead to growing in our character . I love how cheer gives students the opportunity to work together through challenges to become one unified squad showing Christ and the Knights spirit at each game while also utilizing their athletic talents!
