OpsCenter and RAPTOR Training Announcement August 2017

OREGON OFFICE OF

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

OpsCenter and RAPTOR Application Trainings

Date: Tuesday, August 15th, 2017

Location: Webinar and In-Person at OEM State Emergency Coordination Center

Times:

8:30 AM to 10:30 AM (OpsCenter Training for Local/Tribal Partners)

11:00 AM to 1:00 PM (RAPTOR Training for All Partners)

2:00 PM to 4:00 PM (OpsCenter Training for State and Federal Agency Partners)

Course Description:

OpsCenter and RAPTOR are both used by the state of Oregon to gather and track critical data

during emergency events. OpsCenter is a crisis management application that allows users to

input situation report information and associated critical data related to requests for state

resources into a single system. RAPTOR is a web mapping application that enables users

access to live data in combination with ‘traditional’ GIS layers to create a comprehensive picture

anywhere, anytime. These trainings will instruct our local, tribal, and state agency partners on

how to use these systems for gathering and displaying critical data during emergency events.

Students will learn how to navigate both applications, request state resources, display and input

event and situation report data and process actions assigned to state agencies.

Target Audience:

Federal, State, Tribal, and Local emergency management and response personnel who operate

within an agency operations center, emergency operations center, or the State Emergency

Coordination Center. Sessions are geared towards specific audiences, so please pay attention

to the times for these trainings for attendance.
