Production of quality products through strict hygienic managementThorough hygienic management is important to deliver fresh products to customers. Based on the long-time accumulated knowhow, Sunhae Marine Co., Ltd. carefully chooses products and delivers them to customers through prompt distribution in order to keep the products fresh.
To prevent the quality of anchovies from changing and preserve them in the best state, we use a hygienic drying process and store them at a proper temperature. Also, to prevent the rich nutrients of seaweeds from being lost, we dry them hygienically and produce them as easy-to-cook products with thorough standardization processing.
Coming closer to natureSunhae Marine Co., Ltd. tries to satisfy customers’tastes by minimizing the processing of raw ingredients to make them as fresh as possible. Jukbang anchovies, which are caught in a traditional way and produced in small quantities, are processed manually to choose the best ones with silver-white good shapes and therefore to increase the product value. Considering Korean people’s dietary habit of excessive intake of sodium, we use 100% alkali bamboo salt to produce bamboo salt anchovies.As for the natural bamboo salt fish, we cleanly remove the scales and intestines of fresh fish, season them with bamboo salt, half-dry, and quickly freeze them to keep them fresh. As for natural fresh seaweed, we dry them naturally through a sea breeze and sunlight to keep their unique flavor and taste. As for fresh laver, we do not apply any oil on them but bake them slightly to leave their original taste intact.

‘Bbukka Bbukka’ that means the act of putting calcium on foods is the unique brand of Sunhae Marine Co., Ltd. It is a patented product technologically supported by Korea Food Research Institute (KFRI). Unlike conventional seasonings, it is soft and is not dry so that it is used for Bibimbop, Kimbop, Yubuchobop, and Albop, and also used as an ingredient for egg dishes, pan-fried dishes, and hot ricecake

For BADASORI natural bamboo salt fishes, only the natural fish caught in the southern coast of Korea. After their scales and intestines are clearly removed, they are half-dried with sea breeze and sunlight in Gamak bay, Yeosu. After that, they are separately vacuum packaged and quickly frozen to keep them fresh. Instead of using regular salt, they are properly seasoned with healthy bamboo salt, so they are not too salty and odorous. Therefore, they provide the best flavor in cooking.

A great deal of anchovies dried with clean wind goes through an automation line in Yeosu workplace to filter pollutants. After that, they are carefully examined again manually.
