The Fo Guang Shan Buddha Memorial
Center (Chinese: 佛光山佛陀紀念館; pinyin: Fóguāngshān Fótuó jìniànguǎn) is a Mahayana Buddhist cultural, religious and educational complex located in Taiwan's Kaohsiung City, Dashu District. The center is affiliated with Fo Guang Shan, one of Taiwan's largest Buddhist organizations. The center houses one of the tooth relics of Gautama Buddha, the founder of the Buddhist faith. Construction of the center began in 2008, and the complex was opened to the public in December 2011
The Love River or Ai River (simplified Chinese: 爱河; traditional Chinese: 愛河; pinyin: Ài Hé; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: À i-hô) is a river (canal) in southern Taiwan. It originates in Renwu District, Kaohsiung City, and flows 12 kilometers (7.5 mi) through Kaohsiung to Kaohsiung Harbor. Love River is the spine of Kaohsiung, playing a similar role to the River Thames of London. It is of great cultural significance to the people of Kaohsiung and plays an important role in its economy and tourism

Sanxiantai (Chinese: 三仙台) is an area containing a beach and several islands located on the coast of Taitung County, Taiwan. The beach stretches for ten kilometers in length. It is situated at the 112-kilometer mark. A popular tourist attraction for its rocky coastal views, the area is well known for its long footbridge that connects the coast to the largest island.
Pahsientung Site
This prehistoric archeological site is situated in the Changbin (長濱)Township of Taitung (臺東) County in the middle section of the Costal Mountain Range between Hualien (花蓮) and Taitung, about 8.5km south of the Siouguluan River (秀姑巒溪). The site is located on the massive rocks along the coast, about 380m above sea level. Along the Pacific side of the rocks as many as a dozen caves that were formed from the waves. The local aboriginals from the Amis Tribe (阿美族), call them Lohan, which means “caves”, and they are now known today as Pahsientung (八仙洞, Baxiandong). The site is part of the caves and its surrounding areas.
