WELCOME – A Message From the President
Super Boat Racing continues to muscle its way to the top of sports sponsorships and extends its reach wide in North America. Offshore Racing combines the beauty of Catamaran and Vee-Bottom style boats with tranquil waterfront settings and sometimes-violent water conditions. Dubbed ‘cigarette boats’ in the 1960’s, the allure of fast and sexy boats has drawn the rich and famous to races from all across the world. Today, Super Boats are faster and, with advancements in technology, they have become uncharacteristically agile machines. Super Boat International (SBI) has held races in many fascinating locations in the Western Hemisphere including many 100-mile races in South America. With the distinction of being an organization that can close the Hudson River for a day, Super Boat International race teams have continued to excite the masses. Along the way, official speed records have been set and broken by those who push the limits of speed on water. 2014 will be no different. Teams are preparing to break coveted kilo records and one team hopes to be the fastest boat in the world.
I started racing at a very young age and I never have gotten it out of my blood. Early on while racing in different organizations, I believed I could promote races, bring in top caliber race teams, and encourage racing and boating fans to share in the festivities. I organized the first World Championship [club race] in Key West and I knew, at that point, it would only be a matter of time before I’d start a new racing series. As founder of Super Boat International and host of the Key West World Championship event, I have worked diligently, exciting crowds from coast to coast.
Celebrating 24 years, Super Boat International prides itself on being the most exciting form of extreme sports while also being a pioneer in the safety of racers and fans.
Please consider partnering with SBI in leading this incredibly, highly entertaining property into the future…

one of the most important aspects of marketing and communication activation is properly taking advantage of media exposure. Creating and maintaining positive momentum in the media is paramount. activation of a strong public relations campaign can expect solid local media coverage and with the right tactics, could expect a reasonable amount of national coverage.
much of today’s newspaper coverage includes the media outlet’s online digital partner. The shelf life of the coverage is extended and broadened beyond the local market.
