Stevens Honor Board

Since its inception in 1906, the Stevens Honor System began with a multifaceted purpose: to help ensure that all students’ work was their own, and that the academic environment at Stevens was one of honesty and trust. In order to help fulfill the Honor System’s purpose, the Stevens Honor Board was created. Entirely student-run, the Honor Board — despite the misconception of many — is not here to condemn students or hinder their path to a happy and successful life beyond Stevens. In fact, the Honor Board is here to assure that students have a fair playing field throughout their Stevens careers. Moreover, the Honor Board assists in preventing wrongful accusation and prosecution of suspected Honor System violations against students, investigating the matter fully to help uphold fairness. The Honor System is more than it is perceived to be; it

is the essence of Stevens. Come be a part of it.

Founded in 1910, the Stevens Dramatic Society is one of the oldest continuously running student organizations on campus. Our ever-changing troupe of enthousiastic and talented students produce one major show a semester—a drama in the fall and a musical in the spring. Throughout the season we also offer our members various other theatrical opportunities including a shadow cast of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, One Act Festivals, Theater and Tech Workshops, and more! No theater experience is necessary to join the society and we are always looking for new members. Students can participate in all aspects of each production; choosing shows and directors, acting, building sets, hanging lights, you name it. It’s completely student run! This upcoming fall semester we will be putting on a production of George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart’s You Can’t

The Society of Women Engineers at Stevens aims to encourage women to be active on campus and to enhance the image of women in the field of engineering as a catalyst for demonstrating diversity in the workforce. Ultimately, SWE hopes to help women pursue careers in engineering and experience their full potential

as leaders in the workplace and beyond.

As a professional organization SWE invites and hosts different companies and panel discussions on campus. Nevertheless, SWE is not solely professional as the organization also holds social events on campus and has a very active K-12 outreach program. SWE at Stevens welcomes all members interested, men as

well as women.

Chi PHI

Leadership, friendship, and character development are the fundamental values of a Chi Phi Gentleman. This directly translates to better men through strong relations - being both the leader and the pupil allows one to create the best version of themselves. However... This is college. We take our time as Stevens Students and community members to work hard all week, so what better to do in between then make great friends and have a great time? But don’t let me tell you about Chi Phi,

come find out for yourself.

From strolling to our signature hand sign and calls, La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Incorporated differs from other Greek organizations on campus by being a MultiCultural Greek Fraternity. Next time you see a Brother (Hermano) with Brown and Gold letters, stop him, ask questions, and you may soon see yourself as a Gentleman (Caballero) in our New Membership Education

PHI SIGMA SIGMA

Phi Sigma Sigma, founded on the basis of Philanthropy and the strong bond of Sisterhood, was founded in 1913 at Hunter College in New York City. At Stevens, our chapter, Delta Zeta, was founded in 1982 and we have grown significantly since that time. With our chapter having 90+ sisters just this past spring, we are eager and excited to welcome the new faces on campus and encourage them to consider being involved within the Greek Community. We do a great deal of community service, are constantly involved on campus, and are Nationally recognized for the hard work we put into our community and our chapter. Joining Phi Sigma Sigma is more than wearing the golden Sphinx, embroidering our letters on your apparel, or attending chapter meetings; it’s the everlasting memories made, counting on your sisters while in return being counted on, sharing the experiences you face with people who genuinely love and care about you, constantly being encouraged to aim high and succeed in your scholastic work, and knowing that no matter what happens you have the support of Phi Sigma Sigma. We continue to uphold our values and beliefs, which ultimately strengthens the bond of sisterhood between each and every sister. Phi Sigma Sigma is greater than just a collegiate experience; it is the opportunity of a lifetime. We also would like to congratulate all the incoming freshmen on their acceptance into Stevens, and hope that the next 4 or 5 years of their college careers are

some of the best years of their lives!

The New Jersey Alpha chapter or Sigma Phi Epsilon, one of the largest fraternities in the country, takes residence in two four-story buildings at 528 and 530 Hudson Street. SigEp’s mission is building balanced leaders through personal development, helping men achieve and maintain the ideal of a Sound Mind in a Sound Body. In line with this goal, SigEp has eliminated the pledge process entirely, replacing it with a universal respect for others. All members have the same privileges from day one so that they may better experience brotherhood through mentoring,

community service, and experiential learning.

Feelgood World

FeelGood is a non-profit organization with sights set on ending world hunger by the year 2030. How will we do that? By ending the hunger of those around us as we make and sell a variety of grilled cheese sandwiches. 100% of the money raised goes directly to FeelGood, which then sends that money to the Hunger Project, and organization that distributes goods and necessities in third world countries to end the problems of hunger and poverty. THP is currently working in 11 countries

throughout Africa, South Asia, and Latin America.

Everything about this club is positive: Members enjoy holding events and raising money for a good cause, students and faculty on campus get to satisfy their taste buds with our grilled cheese sandwiches, and people around the world are getting the help they need to survive and

lead great lives!

Stevens Environmental club

As the Stevens Environmental Club, SAVE serves to promote awareness of environmental issues, and even more importantly to promote environmental action. We seek to accomplish this by hosting fun campus events that focus on environmental issues, such as our record bowl making event which focuses on sustainable reuse of materials. We also seek to have an active presence in Hoboken and to promote and participate in green activities in the community. We have participated in cleanup activities with the city and every year we engage local business owners with the Tap Project. We’re always looking for new ideas and

ways to promote sustainability at Stevens!

Alpha Phi Omega is an international coed service fraternity founded on the principles of leadership, friendship and service. Since its founding in 1925, more than 350,000 members have joined the organization, with over 17,000 active students today. Of the many student groups at Stevens, Alpha Phi Omega is particularly turning heads both on and off campus. The Stevens Chapter is a very large and growing fraternity, attracting highly motivated students. Currently, the chapter includes approximately 90 active members. The term “fraternity” can be misleading, since Alpha Phi Omega falls into a category of its own. The coeducational, alcohol-free organization is not considered a “social” fraternity. Our group is devoted to serving the community and developing leadership skills

in addition to forming brotherly bonds between members.
