Apply base coat and then clearcoat according to TDS.

Shake can thoroughly before use for a minimum of 2 minutes.

Once the clearcoat has been applied a light mist coat Fade Out Spray is applied over the blend area holding the aerosol 25cm from the panel.

The blending process is best undertaken in two rapid light passes of the aerosol. The blend edge will melt into the original paintwork requiring little or no processing once the clear coat has cured.

Fade Out Spray is used when blends or spot repairs operations are being carried out; all these processes result in an interface being created between the existing, curedcoating and the freshly applied clear coat.If the interface is not treated a dry edge will be visible upon cure of the fresh coating.

Once applied the clearcoat manufacturer’s instructions for flash off and air/force dry should be followed.

This is a pressurized container, do not expose to direct sunlight or store above 50°C.

Depends on the coat thickness of the material being applied. For best results, we recommend to apply the material in 1-2 coats with a 20 min flash-off between the coats. Two coats ensure durable protection with no risk of the coating being washed away.

All tools used for the application of the coating must be thoroughly washed with water. If the temperature inside the spray booth is 70 – 90°C, the coating should be renewed more often: at least once a month. This will prevent the protective film from drying up.If necessary, several new layers can be applied on the old film.In case of a long operation life of the spray booth, it is recommended that the old protective film should be removed prior to application of a new one.

tack Coating for Spray Booth

Articles Description Pcs. / pack

3-401-0010 10 L 1

Description Booth mask safely binds paint, dust and overspray particles that tend to settle on spray booth walls and ceiling panels, thus preventing contamination of the surface being refinished. The compound stays transparent and water-soluble. Thin and sticky protective film never dries out on the wall, ensuring safe dust and overspray binding. Once the film loses its particle-binding capacity, it can be easily washed off with water and a sponge and then reapplied.

Application For overspray and dust protection of spray booth walls.

Characteristics• Provides dust protection of the object being refinished• Protects spray booth surfaces from paint, dust and overspray• Specially designed to protect glass and lights without impacting light permeability and reflection capacity. • Easy to apply and remove • Very cost-effective. Depending on the level of contamination, the coating should be replenished once in a

Clean and degrease surfaces with solvent like acetone. Oxidized metal surfaces and concrete must be first sanded and then cleaned. Degrease PVC, aluminum and glass with a non greasy solvent, like acetone.

• The temperature of the substrate must be within +5…+30°C• In case of application by cold weather, store the cartridges at 20°C before use• Prior to application, carry out a test on adhesion efficiency and compatibility with each of the materials

upon which the sealant will be applied

Puncture the cartridge and section the nozzle according to the extrusion diameter required, remove the metal base and the dehydrating salts and extrude from cartridge with a manual or pneumatic gun.

Film thickness depends on the characteristics of the materials being bonded. The joint should be overlapped on the previous section; the end-to-end jointis prohibited to avoid the leakage of water. The process of bonding must take no more than 10 minutes.PU sealant has a relatively high viscosity. Therefore, it is advisable to use special clamps for locking the parts being bonded until the sealant dries completely.

SEALANTS

Clean and degrease surfaces with solvent like acetone. Let dry after degreasing.

• The substrates to be bonded must be dry, oil-free, grease-free, dust-free and free of any contaminating agents that could harm bonding.

• In cold weather, store the cartridges or sausages at a temperature of about 20°C before use.• Do not wipe the substrate up and down. If the pad has got dirty, replace it with a new one and

continue the procedure. If the primer peels off, replace the windshield to avoid unpredictable consequences.

• If any deviations in the substrate material are detected, it is advisable to carry out an adhesion test prior to actual bonding. Test bonding of the windshield with any materials is particularly recommended to achieve desirable adhesion.

• Avoid any contact with non-cured MS, hybrid PU or silicone sealants as well as with alcohols or ammonia during curing.

Substrate pretreatment

Application Apply the glass coated with the sealant on the car body and press, before the skin formation time (i.e. within 30 minutes).Apply the glue with a glue gun onto the substrate.Install the glass onto the window frame and use the palm to press softly till the glass is bound flatly. Adjust the space up and down, left and right, and use the press sensitive tape to fix.

Do not apply at a temperature below +5°C.

Excessive glue can be removed with a scraper or soapy water. If any glue residue remains on the substrate, quickly remove it with an alcohol-free cleaning agent, e. g. gasoline. If the glue has hardened, use a blade.

Tack free time: 40 – 60 min at 23°C and 50% r.h.Cure rate: > 3.5 mm / 24 hrs at 23°C and 50% r.hDrive-away time at 23°C and 50% r.h.:- 6 hrs. no airbag- 8 hrs. with airbag
