Mark Harmon | Founder and Managing Partner Auberge Resorts CollectionAs the Founder and Managing Partner of Auberge Resorts, Mark oversees the Company’s growth and strategic direction, including the concept, design and development of hotels, resorts, residence clubs and branded residences.

Named after its flagship hotel, Napa Valley’s renowned Auberge du Soleil, the company owns and operates a distinguished collection of exceptional properties, among them: the Hotel Jerome in Aspen, CO; Esperanza in Los Cabos, Mexico; Calistoga Ranch in Napa Valley, CA; Solage Calistoga in the Napa Valley, CA; the Auberge Residences at Element 52 in Telluride, CO; Pronghorn in Bend, OR; and the Malliouhana Resort in Anguilla, BWI, with several others – including City hotels – currently in planning and development.

While Auberge Resorts nurtures the individuality of the establishments it owns and manages, all are characterized by a set of common elements: intimate, understated luxury based upon timeless design; magnificent natural settings in some of the world’s most desirable destinations; captivating spas; superb cuisine utilizing the very best regional ingredients; and unparalleled service. Since 1998, Auberge Resorts has developed the concept for resorts and resort real estate for some of the most highly acclaimed and successful resorts across the United States and in Mexico. Under Mark’s leadership, Auberge Resorts properties have garnered industry accolades and highest honors from every major travel publication, including Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, Town and Country, Departures, and Andrew Harper’s Hideaway Report.

Mark has been a regular speaker at hospitality industry events at Cornell University Hote School, the New York University Hospitality Conference and at the annual conference of the International Spa Association (ISPA). He is a graduate of Princeton University and University of California, Hastings College of the Law.

Randy Gold, MAI, SRA | Aspen Appraisal GroupRandy Gold is a partner in the Aspen Appraisal Group. He has worked for the company since 1978 and is actively involved in appraising and consulting on local real estate. He has lived in the Aspen area and Pitkin County since 1973 when he graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He holds both the MAI and SRA professional designations from the Appraisal Institute, awarded after demonstrating extensive knowledge and expertise in the appraisal of commercial and residential real estate.

Randy is also a Certified General Appraiser with the State of Colorado and is a licensed real estate broker. He has also been qualified as an expert witness in Local, State and Federal jurisdictions.

Randy’s professional focus is on upper valley Pitkin County real estate. His appraisal concentration is in high-end luxury single family homes and building sites, commercial real estate including retail, office and mixed use projects, subdivision of raw land, proposed residential developments, easements, condemnation, and ski area base development.

Michael Adams, CRB | President, BJ Adams and Company An Aspen resident since 1970, Michael Adams has been a principal in five Aspen companies – two property management firms, a graphic design company, a real estate investment group, and, as an owner and President, BJ Adams and Company. The company, with offices in Aspen and Snowmass, started in 1994, quickly became the first single brokerage office to produce over $100 million in sales in a 12-month period, and has been one of the top four Aspen brokerages since its inception.

As President, Michael oversees all operational and strategic planning activities, serves as chief coach/strategist to all the brokers, is actively involved in training and IT development, and gener-ates all the company’s in-depth marketing data and stats. He has served as a key director on the Aspen Board of Realtors for many years.

Michael managed The Crestwood in Snowmass Village, at the time the largest condominium hotel in Colorado, and he and BJ pioneered the full-service resort condominium hotel concept in the state. In 1983, he started Snowmass Lodging Company, expanding this condominium hotel model into multiple properties managed by one entity.
