A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to Duncan, Emily and Ruby Ward’s grandparents for kindly donating funds for a new BBQ. Jimmy and the Garden Club members are busy researching BBQ’s to find the best value for money. They are aiming to finalise the deal ready for next term. The problem has now been rectified and you can complete the survey by clicking on the link below and it will now be open until October 6th. The Survey Monkey has been creat-ed again this year for families to provide us with their feedback on the interviews. http:http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/YYWXVLT YEAR 1 /2 PARENT INTERVIEWS- Term 4 will hopefully bring good health to our year 1 /2 teachers, as this has been a term they will not want to repeat. It is terrific to see Sharon Shanley back with us this week and we will welcome back Liz Hopkins back for the start of term 4. Nicole Colee will remain on leave for the beginning of term 4 and her return date is yet to be finalised. Aimee for will continue to teach-er the 1/2 C class until Ms Colee returns. The next program will begin in the second week of term 4 and there are a few vacancies. If you know of people who may be inter-ested, please encourage them to contact the school asap. The par-ent information sessions on Literacy, Numeracy and Oral Language are presented by experts in these fields, from 10-11am in week 2, 3 and 5 of the program. Parents of incoming 2014 preps are invited to these sessions next term, so please spread the word and contact the office if you know of people who may be interested. LOST PROPERTY- Lost property will be on display in the stadium foyer tomorrow lunchtime. If lost property is not collected by the end of each term, the uniforms are given to students and the Garden Club sells items at their fund raising events. I had a fantastic day!
Buddy reading
For the last few days of term, Blue Prep
and 3/4C have been reading to each other
to celebrate how much reading we've
achieved. First Blue Prep came to 3/4C’s
room and then we went to their room and
then they came to our room again. We
listened to the preps read and they were
good at stopping at the full stops, reading
smoothly, putting voices in and tracking
with their finger. Maya, Lauren and
Amber.

Table Tennis Challenge
Last Friday eight of our senior students represented our
school in the annual Primary School Table Tennis Team
Challenge.
After practising for over four weeks during P.E. lessons
and then at lunch times, our team achieved a lot of suc-
cess.
Our Girls team came second as did our boys team. Points
were then added
up to get an
overall school

came second out of nine schools.
Congratulations to our team members who conducted
themselves so well during the competition showing great
skills and good sportsmanship. The girls team consisted
of Shona, Grace, Klara and Maddison while the boys team
