Officer Installation & Awards BanquetThe GBAHB Officer Installation and Awards Banquet is the premiere event of the year and annual Christmas Party for the GBAHB. This year’s event will be held the evening of Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Pine Tree Country Club. Builder Appreciation Night The GBAHB Past Presidents of the Associates Council will host Builder Appreciation Night as a Kick-Off Party for the Building & Remodeling Expo. The event is the most highly attended by GBAHB Builder members. Muddy Boots Builder EducationThe GBAHB’s Muddy Boots Builder Education program provides builders with informative educational monthly seminars. The events are open to builder members only. Sponsors are the only associate members allowed to attend the event allowing the full attention of the builder members in attendance. The breakfast meetings are traditionally held at 7:30 a.m. on the second Tuesday of the month.

Associate Appreciation Night Associate members are the backbone of the GBAHB. Without their membership the GBAHB wouldn’t be the success that it is. This is why we always want to take the time to show our appreciation for their tremendous support. Associate Appreciation Night is traditionally held during the month of September, which is the Na-tional Associate Appreciation Month. The highly-attended networking event is highly anticipated by the GBAHB and always includes a ice cold beverages and a delicious dinner. Golf Tournament SponsorshipThe Annual Buddy “Papa” Berry Memorial Golf Tournament benefitting ABPAC is jointly hosted in the fall by the GBAHB Remodelers Council and ABPAC Committee. The event attracts more than 100 golfers from the home building industry.

Hole-in-One Sponsor - In-Kind for Cost of Insurance• The Hole-in-One Sponsor is traditionally an auto dealership. Sponsorship includes one hole with sign. The sponsor

will be required to provide a vehicle to be visible at the hole the day of the tournament. In the event that a player makes a hole-in-one at the assigned hole, the sponsors agrees to provide a vehicle for the prize. Sponsor is respon-sible for securing hole-in-one insurance. Proof of insurance must be provided to the GBAHB.

South Chapter Skeet ShootThe GBAHB’s South Chapter Skeet Shoot is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year. The Skeet Shoot is known for it’s large builder turnout, great food and fun with friends. The event is held annually at Selwood Farms in Alpine, AL.

ABPAC Patron’s ClubThe GBAHB Alabama Political Action Committee (ABPAC) Patron’s Club was established in 2012 to give mem-bers the opportunity to support ABPAC while also receiving a great return upon their investment. Without the support and power of ABPAC many of the legislative successes the Association has achieved would not have been possible. Through ABPAC contributions the Association is able to help elect candidates at the local and state level who understand and support those issues vital to the continued success and growth of the home building industry here in Birmingham and across Alabama.

The GBAHB requires a contribution of $2,500 to become a member of the ABPAC Patron’s Club. The GBAHB offers exclusive Patron’s Only governmental affairs events throughout the year for club members. The Asso-ciation also schedules several networking events throughout the year where you can meet with other AB-PAC Patron’s Club members to discuss issues of importance.
