Clements High School Student Information - Exemption/Finals Week Information Spring 2014

9th and 10th grade students, both exempt and non-exempt students, must attend all classes on exam days. Failure to attend class will be coded as an absence and will result in a zero for the exam grade.

11th and 12th grade students must follow the information below.

Exempt Juniors and Seniors can leave at 12:30pm.

No sign-out required.

*Lockers must be cleaned out by 3pm on Wednesday, June 4

7:30-9:30am 2nd Period Exam

9:40–11:40am 4th Period Exam

11:45 am – 1:10 pm 5th Period/Lunch

1:15 - 2:30 pm 7th Period

*Lockers must be cleaned out by 3pm.

Exempt Juniors will report to the Girls Gym according to the schedule below to sign the exemption list and wait for dismissal announcement.

Exempt Seniors will report to the Auditorium according to the schedule below to sign the exemption list and wait for dismissal announcement.

o Exempt 2nd period only – report to above locations at 9:20 to sign exemption sheet and wait for dismissal announcement. 4th period begins at 9:40. Must attend 5th and 7th periods beginning at 11:45.

o Exempt 4th period only - report to above locations after 2nd period exam to sign the exemption sheet. Remain until dismissal announcement is made. Must attend 5th and 7th periods beginning at 11:45.

o Exempt 2nd and 4th periods – report to above locations at 11:20 to sign the exemption sheet and wait for dismissal announcement. Must attend 5th and 7th periods beginning at 11:45.

ALL students, grades 9 – 12, MUST attend their 5th & 7th period classes and attendance will be taken. 5th period begins at 11:45.

7:30–9:30am 3rd Period Exam

9:40–11:45am 5th Period Exam

11:45 am Early Dismissal

Lunch will not be served at school.

Exempt Juniors will report to the Girls Gym at the times noted below to sign the exemption list and wait for dismissal announcement.

o Exempt 3rd period only – report to the Girls Gym at 9:20 to sign exemption sheet and wait for dismissal announcement. 5th period exam begins at 9:40.

o Exempt 5th period only - report to above locations at 9:30 after 3rd period exam to sign the exemption sheet. Wait for dismissal announcement.

o Exempt 3rd and 5th periods – report to the Girls Gym at 8:30 to sign the exemption sheet. Wait for the dismissal announcement.

3rd and 5th period exempt SENIOR students must report to the Auditorium at 8:30 for a mandatory graduation information meeting. Caps and gowns will be distributed at this time.

Senior students who ARE NOT EXEMPT from 3rd or 5th period exams should report to the Auditorium after their 3rd period exam or before their 5th period exams to receive graduation information and their cap and gown.

Not exempt students my pick up their graduation materials in the Commons Office after their exams.
