President’s MessageThis year marks the Canungra Show Society’s 76th Show.
The Show Society has welcomed many new volunteers this year and gained enormous support from local business, the Canungra Show Society’s 76th show will be one the whole town can be proud of.
The committee has sought some wonderful entertainment, fantastic food stalls and exhibits for this year’s show that the whole family will enjoy.
The main ring will play host to a range of equestrian events and around the grounds you will find everything from the woodchop to cattle and utes. You will find some wonderful arts and crafts in the pavilions and there are many trade displays to be seen.
You may also notice that we are currently replacing the old timber ring fence with a new steel rail design, please take the time to look at the brass plaques that are positioned on each sec-tion of new fencing. Each section of fence has been generously donated by individuals, fami-lies and local business. If you would like to be part of history and have a brass plaque of your own fitted to a new section of fencing, please enquire by contacting our Secretary.
I would like to thank our all of our volunteers, stewards and sponsors who have worked tire-lessly to bring you a fun, action packed day. Thank you all for coming to support what is sure to be a fantastic Agricultural Show.
Please look though the programme as you will be sure to find something for the whole family, we hope you enjoy the 2014 Canungra Show.
