Even with the growing number of characterized Sr genes - Eighteen possible Loci/chromosome locations to investigate - Possible new APR loci

Explained variance APR and genetic drag

-Evaluate the origin of the potential APR loci (i.e introgression/genetic drag) -Focusing the efforts on position with high variance (5B/6B)

Provides a consensus map for localization/fine mapping Sr genes - 1433 markers spread on the 21 chromosomes - Includes SSR but also GBS/DArT/SNP: New marker development
