Transformative Experience

Through our IMPACT curriculum, you will build a broad foundation of business knowledge and skills. You’ll deepen your expertise in accounting, business analytics, entrepreneurship, finance, general management, innovation, marketing, organiza-tional behavior, strategy or technology management. Globalization, responsible business ethics and sustainability are integrated throughout our program.

the PrOGram | Our two-part capstone course will sharpen your writing, speaking and critical-thinking abilities. You’ll then put your collective business skills and knowledge to work on 10-week consulting team projects for partner companies ranging from Fortune 500 firms to ultra-fast-paced Silicon Valley startups. By creatively responding to real-world strategic business issues, you’ll deepen the analytical, technical and leadership skills you need to succeed.

yOur needs | Every aspect of our program, from scheduling and logistics to faculty office hours and support services, is designed to meet the needs of working professionals. This flexibility provides options to accelerate or extend your studies, to immediately apply new knowledge and skills on the job—and to meet work commit-ments while earning your MBA and advancing your career.

Our PeOPle | Our distinguished professors’ depth of knowledge and personal attention form the foundation of your UC Davis MBA experience. And you will benefit from the insights of your colleagues, who bring diverse backgrounds and industry experience to the classroom.

yOur sChedule | Courses meet every other weekend and most sessions are held: Fridays, 2–5 p.m. and 6–9 p.m. Saturdays, 9 a.m.– noon and 1–4 p.m.

Most students complete the degree in three years, taking classes every other weekend. Some complete the degree in two years by taking classes every weekend.

Dialing up digital: A team of our MBA students recently completed an Integrated Management Project for AT&T Wireless, delivering a plan to transition from direct mail to digital marketing.

Our new IMPACT MBA curriculum is anchored by Integrated Management Project and Articulation and Critical Thinking (IMPACT) core courses. Students team on 10-week projects for client firms.
