  • During 2013/14 Performing Arts students delivered a number of exceptional performances including their summer show - Jesus Christ Superstar.

  • 2013-14 Year of Collaboration

The academic year 2013-14 was extremely successful for Pembrokeshire College. In spite of growing financial pressures, the College achieved its best student results ever; we are particularly proud of our A-level and Extended Diploma results (see pages 5 -7).

The College continued to fulfil an important role within Pembrokeshire and beyond; enhancing the skills of our students, enabling them to contribute to the success of employers and more generally to the economy.

Given the range of activities undertaken by the College, from the teaching of basic skills, to vocational studies (at the College and in the workplace), to A-levels and higher level degrees and diplomas, we worked in collaboration with a number of stakeholders in order to achieve our strategy. 2013/14 witnessed a strengthening of our collaborative partnerships including: 1) a deepened relationship with Pembrokeshire County Council, working in the best interests of our 14-19 students, 2) an extension of our Apprenticeship Consortium - The Skills Academy Wales - which brings a new dynamic to the College, and 3) the formation of a joint venture with Swansea University and other colleges to deliver vocational higher education.

Thank you for taking the time to read our Annual Review. Pembrokeshire College is your College, and we hope to welcome you to the College soon.
