Dear William Paterson University Community,

The David and Lorraine Cheng Library is pleased to present its annual author bibliography. As always, the booklet showcases the remarkable range of interests held by our faculty and staff in their research and creative efforts.

I want to take this opportunity to acknowledge the passing of Lorraine Cheng, a special supporter of the Library. She died on December 29, 2012 at the age of eighty-six. The Library is named for Mrs. Cheng and her late husband David, a former member of the Board of Trustees. The generosity of their endowment enables us to continually improve our collections and thereby improve our services to the University community. Like our faculty members who benefit from the Chengs’ support of the Library, Mrs. Cheng was a scholar as well. Having earned a Master of Science degree in biochemistry from Cornell University, she had an impressive career at Hoffman-LaRoche before retiring in 1994.

We are proud to recognize the many dedicated faculty and staff authors represented in the bibliography, and those who participate in the Author Reception and University Research and Scholarship Day 2013.

Sincerely,

Anne Ciliberti, Ph. D. Dean of Library Services David and Lorraine Cheng Library
