If I could play a theme song behind this year's Annual Report, I think I would choose Sinatra's “It's Been A Very Good Year.” And it has. Through the efforts of many committee volunteers, City leaders, the Sacramento Police Dept. plus our own crew and staff, we accomplished an amazing number of milestones. You'll read about the details in this report, but to highlight a few:

Created the Sacramento Center for Innovation. Fours years of work came together to create a Specic Plan approved unanimously by both the Planning and Design Commission and City Council.

Removed an unprecedented 40 tons of trash and debris from streets, lots and abandoned homeless camps.

Approved two reimbursable loans to the City for design work on the Ramona Ave. Extension and water main pressure testing.

Approved a reimbursable loan to the County for pre-engineering work to widen So. Watt Ave.

Worked closely with Sac PD to reduce crime and educate members on how to protect themselves.

Held the largest “Picnic in the Park” in Alliance history entertaining over 1,700 people.

Of course, much more was accomplished which you will read about in the next pages. But with the combined efforts, ideas and support of more than 1,100 members, you'd expect that.
